After losing their first two matches of the Liga MX Apertura, Tigres won away to UNAM Pumas 2-0 with goals coming from their foreign wingers, Danilinho (Brazil) and Damian Alvarez (Argentina, but now a Mexican citizen).

Time now to climb up the table.

Tigres won the Monterrey derby tonight 3-1 over their city rivals. Alan Pulido scored 2 first half goals, and Lucas Lobos got the insurance goal in the second half. Humberto Suazo -formerly of Colo Colo- picked up Monterrey's only goal.

Six points, and moving UP.

Santos Laguna gave Tigres a good whupping yesterday, 3-0. Ouch! Good thing it was an away game for UANL.

Tigres held to a 2-2 draw at home last night by Jaguares Chiapas. Goals early on by Alvarez and Pulido (crosses from Danilinho both times) put Tigres up 2-0 at the half. They took their foot off the gas, however; and gave up two second half goals.
