Israel beat Moldova :eekani: 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ben Shachar. Mister Chelsea and Wednesday Sheffield who is trying to make his mark.

Eventually he did was a nice goal...which makes me wonder why he isnt being played more often than he should, if he has great consistancy with the NT.

Perhaps its time to move on or get bought out by M. Haifa, his beloved H.Tel aviv (if not relegated), M.Tel Aviv, M. Netanya or Beitar.....

I told you people! Moldova is good!
This is just a taste of whats up and coming from Moldova ahead of our game with them! Never understimate those punks from Kichenev! :nono::nervous::moan:

This is where we stand right now...

Group 9
Teams GP Pts
Germany 5 13
Israel 6 13
N. Ireland 7 12
Moldova 6 6
Luxembourg 6 0

Israel- We have 2 games left: away to Luxembourg (Sept. 5th) and away to Germany (Sept. 9). With a win against Luxembourg, we will officially clinch 2nd place. However, according to UEFA, only the 10 group winners and the top 4 second-placed teams will advance to the Playoffs. As it looks right now, we will need to get a result(most likely a win) in Germany in the last match to qualify for the playoffs... :nervous::hopeful:

N. Ireland- They are out of the race, unless they somehow win in Germany. I doubt it can happen, but it will definitely help us if an upset occurs...

Germany- They pretty much have this group locked up. They play away to Moldova before finishing at home with NIR and ISR. Hopefully, Moldova and N. Ireland can scrape some points off the Germans before the big finale...:nervous::hopeful:

We should've won in Moldova, but we didn't. That will be the reason we don't make it to Sweden 2009 IF we don't qualify.

After weeks of rubbish you spewed on my beloved Beitar on this forum..i must say i am impress and in complete agreement with your comment.

I truly think that we would do OK. The level of Israeli football among the youth is amazing. Israel beat Russia 3-1 in U17 and the U21 that will become from 2009-2012 would be awsome to see.....great football and talented players .......

Would Bosman ruling be of advantage or disadvantage to the new generation?
