PASADENA, Calif. (AP) --
Mike Magee beat goalkeeper Kevin Hartman on a free kick in the 89th minute as the U.S. men's under-20 national team beat the Los Angeles Galaxy 1-0 in an exhibition game Wednesday.
The Galaxy used its regular starting lineup in the first half of the game played in rain at the Rose Bowl. Coach Sigi Schmid fielded a team of reserves and guest players in the second half.
