Ok,please everyone, submit your country's U-21 best line up.Give a small text on each player as well.

GREECE:

Starting 11:

___________Liberopulos____________
______Alexopulos__Moshogianis______
Hatzizisis___________________Lubutis
_______Gramozzis__Patsatzoglu______
Kafes____________________Vakouftsis
_______Choutos____Konstadinidis_____

Sotiris Liberopulos ( http://www.epo.gr/3/32/322/g32219.html ) is a good young keeper. He is exelent at making reflex saves but is too ewratic at times and quite dodgy at crosses. He is the starting goalkeeper of Kalamata.

Giorgos Hatzizisis ( http://www.epo.gr/3/32/322/g32226.html ) is an extremelly fast and smart wing back with great cross and passing skills.Likes to go up front a lot and scores often. He belongs to PAOK but plays on loan at Kavala.

Giorgos Alexopulos ( http://www.epo.gr/3/32/322/g32204.html ) is a strong but slow central defender who can also play as anchor. He is very good at heading but his limited speed makes him less decent on ground game.He plays for Panathinaikos.

Xenofon Moshogianis ( http://www.epo.gr/3/32/322/g32220.html ) is a central defender. His best skills is his speed but he lacks concentration and makes often silly mistakes.Decent tackling and a specialist at man marking. He starts for Paniliakos.

Kostas Lubutis is a fantastic left wing back.He is fast, agile and tiredless. His best time is when he runs up the field so he can release a powerful long range volley or a decent cross.A fighter who never gives up can surpise a lot of people when he breaks in the international scene. He starts for Aris.

Pandelis Kafes ( http://www.epo.gr/3/32/322/g32212.html ) is a very good offencive midfielder/forward equaly good at the right or the center of the field.A great dribbler and scorer lacks passing. He is constantly improving. He plays for PAOK.

Dimitris Gramozzis is a very good defencive midfielder and is considered one of the best young players in the game.He had an impressive season.A powerful tckler and a great man marker Gramozzis can also operate as a central defender. He is a starter for Hamburg SV in Germany and is set to join Kaiserslautern in the summer.

Hristos Patsatzoglu ( http://www.epo.gr/3/32/322/g32222.html ) is probably the most well balanced young midfielder you can see.The young play-maker is on the verge of receiving a call for the Senior National Team after putting up some exelent performances for his club.He has accurate passing and fights like a mad dog for the ball. His ball winning skills and his exelent positioning, along with his speed and smartness in his game allow him to play as a creative sweeper as well.He plays for Scoda Xanthi but he will surely leave for a bigger team in the summer.

Giorgos Vakouftsis is one of the hottest properties Greek football has.He recenlty broke in the team because of his young age (18).Vakouftsis is a classy right winger, equally good as a forward. He is a lethal scorer and tricky dribbler and has a mean shot. His tends to be too selfish and keeps the ball too much sometimes. His crossing needs some improving but he is expected to play a significant with his age role in his club next season. He plays for Fiorentina.

Sotiris Konstadinidis ( http://www.epo.gr/3/32/322/g32217.html ) is a bing, strong and tall forward with an exelent heading ability.Despite his size he has a very good ball control and he is a good dribbler.Too selfish at times can also play as an offencive midfielder. He plays for AEK.

Lambros Choutos is the best Greek young player. He has probably played his last game with the U-21 side as he is currently a starter at the senior national team.He played for Roma but never got a chance because of a rift with Fabio Cappelo and he was transfred to Olympiakos in the summer.Since then he hasnt stopped scoring. He is only 18 and is definitely among the Top 10 young forwards in Europe. He plays for Olympiakos.

This selection of Argentinean players is actually based on an U-23 squad. Amo, I went through your Greek line up, and noticed that your team was actually U-23, as some of the players you selected were born in '77. I'll post an Argentinean U-21 team soon.

In lining up Argentina, I would go with a 3-4-1-2 formation.

1.Bizzari (Real Madrid)

2.Quiroga (Sporting Lisbon)3.Samuel (Boca Juniors) 4.Mendez (Velez Sarsfield)

5.Duscher (Sporting Lisbon)

6.Scaloni (Deportivo La Coruna)11.Riquelme(Boca Juniors) 8.Romagnoli (San Lorenzo)

10.Aimar (River Plate)

9.Farias (Estudiantes de la Plata) 7.Saviola (River Plate)

Subs:
12.Coloccini (AC Milan)
13.Moreno (Boca Juniors)
14.Cufre (Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata)
15.Placente (River Plate)
16.Cambiasso (Independiente)
17.Montenegro(Independiente)
18.Gonzalez (Rosario Central)
19.Romeo (San Lorenzo)
20.Galletti (Parma)
21.Milito (Independiente)
22.Costanzo (River Plate)

Cambiasso, is certainly a very good player. He is also very important to Argentina's future. He is still on 19 years old and will continue to improve his game.

The reason that I selected, Duscher is that I think that he has the potential to be the greatest defensive midfielder of his generation. In the future, I see him being more complete than either Redondo or Almeyda Duscher will have a very bright future in football.

With regards, to Scaloni, I like his abilities and character I think he is a real ball winner, and for strategic reasons I would play him as a right sided midfielder.

These players started the U-21 Europian Championship Qualifications Campaighn.I dont know how it is in South America but over here a player that starts the campaighn as under 21 is considered U-21 until the new campaign starts.

Please Alexx, post your counrty. No matter the talent.Do you think "my" are able to compete with Ze's and Czar's?

I'm also dissapointed that only us have replied.I really hoped that everyone would submit for his nation.Aquila could defnitely help us with Italy for examble.

I agree with Amoroso at the most. Greek soccer has a great amount of talents and expect shortly to see a lot of this young guys out in the big european football countrys. I am from Sweden and i work as a football agent and i must say that me and my partners are planning to take 17-18 and 19 year olds players to England and Italy. I have a very big felling that Kafes from PAOK will very soon move to Italy and dont forget Kalamata i think they have a youngster age 17
forward i vee seen him and i say that he will propably be one of the greatest forwards in Europe in some years.

Kafes is rapidly improving but has a lot of work to do.Bajevic keeps giving him chances.Fulham made a bid for him earlier this year but it was rejected. As for Kalamata's forward you probably mean Kapos. He is good. But the most impressive talent Kalamata has is that 15 yeard old Ghanaian forward,Boateng. He is SO great and SO young.

I think that from the players I mentioned above 5 of them will be VERY good footballers.Gramozzis,Patsatzoglu,Kafes,Vakouftsis and especially CHOUTOS are more than impressive in my opinion.

Amoroso,
Just hope that you noticed the change I made. I took Le out to put Roger from Fluminense. The guy was themain reason Fluminense beat the brilliant VAsco team on sunday. He reminds people of Maradona (the way he runs and his size)..but of course he is miles below Dieguito's level!

With some delay , here is the Belgium U21 squad..

GK : Gillet (Monza)

Def: Geerinkcx (Fortuna Sittard) - Hoefkens (Lierse) - Van Buyten (Standard) - Daems (Lierse)

Mid : Chatelle (Gent) - Van Handenhoven (Metz) - Bassegio (Anderlecht) - Somers (Lierse)

Att : E. Mpenza (Schalke 04) - Roussel (Coventry)

Other players :
GK : Renard (Udinese)
Def : Dufer (Charleroi)
Mid : Vandebroek (Mechelen) - Van Dessel (Roda)
Att : Sonck (Genk) - Cavens (Lierse)

A talented group i think, not superstars but a strong generation (for belgian ofcourse, they can't compete with argentina-brazil :)).
This team just missed the qualification for the Olimpics. Holland defeated us :( but it was very close !

Hoefkens, Daems, Bassegio, Somers, E. Mpenza and Cavens already played with the Belgian A-team and didn't played that much with the U-21 !

Our strongest part is the attack and keepers.

Best players are Mpenza and Bassegio

damned kevin was quicker than me on the belgium-list. you forgot the awsome tom soetaers (roda jc)!

amoroso: yes mbo mpenza is a couple of years older (3 i think). i have to add that although roussel is a good striker jurgen cavens (lierse) is much better. his only problem lies between the ears.

Yes, Mbo is 23 i think..

Well gOD, i already had Sonck en Cavens on the bench but there is certainly Soetaers ofcourse. But i consider the other 4 who i mentioned as better strikers for the moment. Maybe because i haven't seen Soetaers play that much but these other 4 have also proven theirself already. Soetaers never get the chance with Anderlecht and now we will have to wait and see how he develops at Roda.

And i think that Roussel is a better striker then Cavens. Cavens has the potential to be a great striker but he plays with way to much ups en downs.. When has more consistency in his game i maybe put him above Roussel - Mpenza but like he is playing now he is a bench player..

Here is the Croatian U21 team:

Goalkeepers

Pletikosa(Hajduk), Cavlina(Dragovoljac), Maric(Siroki Brijeg)

Defenders

Seric(Verona), Biscan(Dinamo), Tudor(Juventus), Smoje(Monza), Mijatovic(Rijeka), Viskovic(Rijeka), Mladin(Hajduk)

Midfield

Vranjes(Leverkusen), Leko(Hajduk), Pilipovic(Dinamo), Brajkovic(Rijeka), Sablocki(Varteks), Banovic(NK Zagreb)

Strikers

Balaban(Rijeka), Sokota(Dinamo), Simic(Dinamo), Mikic(Dinamo)

Pletikosa will be the starting goalkeeper. He is a very good prospect, and will probably be the keeper for the NT very soon. Mostly because we don't have many good keepers, but even if we did, he'd be a candidate.

Tudor, Smoje, Biscan and Mladin will probably start in defence if there is a four man defence.
Tudor is already known.

Smoje has is Milan property, developing at Monza. He's doing very well and I expect him to either go to Milan next season, or to another club. He's very tall and strong and a very important to the defence.

Biscan is also very strong, and very technically sound. He can rotate between defence and mifield, so he's a great asset.

Mladin is a very stable defender who is diffcult to beat.

The midfield will probably see Vranjes, Leko, Viskovic and Seric(even though he's called as a defender)

Vranjes is the best young talent here in my opinion. Arsenal had offered 7.5 million pounds for him last year, when he was only 18. He's a dominated prescence in the midfield and is capable of playing offensive and defensive ends of the field. He'll be the general in midfield.

Leko is an offensive midfielder/playmaker. He finished 3rd in Cro league scoring this season, which is a good accomplishment considering he's not a striker. He's got a lethal shot and great understanding of the game. He should be brilliant in the tournament.

Seric can play either wing back or at the sides of midfield. He's a player in the Jarni mould, fast with a good shot. I think he'll do well, but I don't expect anything special from him.

Viskovic is a very strong, technically sound midfielder. He is a reliable and a hard fighter.

The starting strikers will definately be Sokota, and possibly Balaban or Simic.

Sokota has been progressing well, won the league scoring championship, and scored 3 CL goals in 6 matches. I hope he becomes our next superstar, because I just love that name.

Simic is alright, but I think he should stay content with being "Dario's little brother" if you know what I mean. But he has potential and can score.

Balaban is a very good player. I hope he starts, but he probably won't. He is a proven goalscorer, and very good at scoring the crucial goals.

Mikic probably won't play much. He's 18 and these other guys are better than him.

Italian youth coach Tardelli stated that either Croatia or Italy would win the tournament. I agree with him, but you all know how youth teams are. You can be great one day, then turn around and lose 4-0 the next day.

A lot of these players were on the team that lost 4-0 to Brazil in Nigeria. I think they've learned from this loss, and improved considerably.

in 16 games through qualifying and friendlies, they have a record of:

12V 3D 1L

Also beat Spain recently in a friendly 3-1, and Spain has to be considered a strong contender.

Well, I hope you guys kept reading, I think I would have stopped half way ;)

Kevin named it, Holland U-21 defeated the Belgium u-21 squad!!

I was impressed by all the names and the complete line-ups, I try to give you the Dutch line-up.:

goal:
Mark Zegers (Excelsior)

defenders:
Kevin Hofland (PSV next season)
Tim Cornelisse (Vitesse next year)
Wisgerhof (Vitesse)
Niels Oude Kamphuis (Schalke 04)

midfielders:
Mark van Bommel (psv)
Antonhy Luring (Heerenveen)
John de Jong (PSV next year)
Wilfred Bouma (PSV)

Attackers:
Arnold Bruggink (PSV)
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink (Twente)

As you can see a lot of "players of the future" play for PSV....Maybe PSV will be the new Ajax, with a lot of young Dutch players!
