playing soccer again after i recovered from groin and back prolblem(thanks fabio and uramino <-- i think thats how you spell it)

then i did this weird pass that i had to really turn my body.

and i pulled a hip muscle

now what can i do??

what are some stretches for the hips?

i normally just twist around my body area above the hip left to right, dunno if that does anything.

you should have done ice right after the injury and heat during the following days.

i see many people with back problems... this is what being in xtratime causes! Chairs are not good.

its true, sitting in chairs is bad for your back
my back hurts all the time now when i bend it
maybe it is just my chairs because i have been using very uncomfortable chairs for about year or 2 now, but i dont think sitting down a lot is good for anyone

maybe you should just rest for a while man, i dont think those back pads or heat whatever really do anything
maybe wrapping it or icing it and lying down for a while and stretching will help but im no expert

The way you sit is important

make sure your legs are at a 90degree angle with your feet flat on the floor
Your lower back should be touching the chair and try to sit as straight as possible

Maybe your chair is too small or too big

Obviously streches and exercise helps
Don't use the PC too much

i can narrow down the problem now to sitting straight and pc

As I read this thread my back began to hurt......

About the hip problem....have you thought about Physical Theropy? That may be the best alteranitive.

If you don't take care of it right It could just get worse, so you might want to look into the PT

Hope that is helpfull
