Juventus defender Igor Tudor will have to undergo a surgery trying to solve definitely the problems to the right ankle which plagued him all along the just concluded Serie A championship.
To announce the new was Croatia national team coach Mirko Jozic, who explained for this reason the player won't have the opportunity to join the World Cup group
"Tudor called me and he said he needs to undergo an operation in few days. Unfortunately the times to recover are long so he won't be with us in Korea and Japan" Jozic said.
"For Croatia is really a bad news, as Igor is one of our key-player. We lost at least the 20% of our potential…"
Croatia is in the same group of Italy at the World Cup, with Ecuador and Mexico.
