So after the CL exit its back to the league. Hopefully morale hasn't dropped bad because it's the final stretch and winning the league would still be a great finish to a great season. Maybe RC will be back because Vederson hasn't been good lately.

I see this as the most important match remaining, because whilst our other opponents are all stronger on paper this is a tricky away match in a tricky situation. If we can get through this unscathed, I think we're 90% the way to the title. Not expecting any favours from Trabzon against Galatasaray, but both matches going our way would be brilliant.

Ankaraspor away is a tough proposition and thankfully they won last week which eased their relegation fears. They've said it themselves, that win ensures they'll be under less pressure and less stress so will be able to approach this game calmly. They did mention that they would give us our hardest match of the season too, but when it comes down to it they won't be playing for their lives here.
A win in this match leaves the 'magic number' to a championship at 7 points
A win would make it 10 unfortunately, because Galatasaray is 2 points behind with 5 matches left to play. Right now it's 13

Oh yeah. I forgot to account for the fact I suck at math...
Just as long as Ankaraspor don't overreact to a loss (if they lose) like Kayserispor did because of losing out on a nice payoff "tesvik primi".
I'm back, I didn't want to come around here during the CL because I thought it might jinx the team.

Anyway, the key here is lineups. I have a good feeling that Volkan will be back in the net again. I don't think Roberto Carlos should play in this game until fully healed. While Vederson hasn't been up to snuff lately, he should be able to get some good time on the field. I still think Semih should come off the bench though. He seems more suited to the 12th man role.

You mean it wasn't because someone stole their bread?

As much as I didn't like it, all that happened was that we took back the loaf of bread they stole off of us in the first match at Kayseri :howler:

I don't know how would offer Ankaraspor a prim anyway, I mean the team most likely would be Galatasaray of course, but the two clubs aren't on the best of terms after Galatasaray failed to make pre-payments for that Hurmaci bloke they agreed to sign next season, collapsing that transfer.

Welcome back again, Doc. Maybe the jinx is that it's your fault we lost to Chelsea because you didn't come back in time to open the match thread :fero: :pp
we will have way to much depth and skill for them and i predict Kezman 2 score a double lol

:D With the crazy actions of Kafkas and Kayseri having nothing to play for I can only suspect that there was a whole lot of money on the line.

No, the jinx is that I almost came here again before the Chelsea match. Considering that I haven't posted in what seems like forever, I didn't want to jinx the run.:excited:

Maybe if you posted we would have had more support and won the match lol
^ Welcome to the Fenerbahce turf of XT.

Hope you'll like it here ;)
Kezman
Who knows. It might be Kezman.
Ilhan Parlak should start as both of the names mentioned above are great subs, especially Semih who always looks lost when he starts.
yea i would guess Kezman would start. We need him to get his lethal touch back now that were in the home stretch...and if not the Semih will show him how :D
I've had enough of kezman to tell you the truth...
I know what you mean. When he came back from his injury he was on a mission to prove his place in the squad and his form soared because of it. But now he's getting too comfortable again and isn't delivering much more than a bunch of running around after the ball. It's almost like he needs a crisis to be motivated, which is ridiculous considering his salary.
The problem is that while Semih has been much more consistent, he's also shown that his energy drops massively after 60-65 minutes.

Maybe starting an eager and willing Ilhan Parlak against Ankaraspor isn't such a bad idea ;)

For this match, I also wonder if Moldonado keeps his place. While he CAN do much more than Selcuk, he always seems to have something keeping him from full fitness. I think Zico isn't totally sold on this guy either...
