is anyone else attempting to saty fit in the off-season. i'm aiming to start running every day and i've started going circuit training once a week, which i can strongly recommend for maintaining cardio-vascular fitness.
I'm going to the gym as regularly as I can, and doing a mixed workout out of cardio and weights. The cardio isn't too bad, mainly the bike, cross trainer and rower, but the weights really kill me. I shelled out extra cash to get a personal trainer to show me how to use the machines, lift the weights correctly, and and do a whole load of routines. It was worth it.
Running is a very good way to stay fit imo. ALthough I detest lifting weights, I am sure that is also a very good thing to do. I just do 120 push-ups a day and try to run about 12-15 miles every week, especially in the summer.
