Jozef/Jozsef Banas, Born 5.2.1894 in Cifer near Trnava. At age of 4 his parents together with small Jozsi moved to Budapest. Since 1913 played for Vasas (4th div. in 1913)

Represented hungarian section of Czechoslovakian FA against german section in Most, hungarians won 2:1 and Bánás scored both goals. 2nd game in Bratislava finished 2:2 and Bánás scored once.

As player of Teplitzer FK he took part on famous trip to South America in 1923.

In 1924 represented Czechoslovakia in Olympic games in Paris.

In autumn 1930 returned to Italy and became coach of various italian teams:
