With a likes of Buenanote and Banega they must be favourites in this years Toulon tournament.

Yeah Argentina thumped a very average Dutch team.

Two poor goals to give away from the Dutch. First when Rens Van Eijden was weak and poor in the defence allowing Jara to score and the second the goalkeepers positioning (Mulder) was very questionable. Banega slotted home a cool penalty and Buonanette scored a good fourth goal.

Banega looked the most accomplished player on the pitch.

Looking forward to watching the French. They handed England's arses to them in a recent friendly and if they give that kind of performance again will be good to watch.

Just to add, Argentinas defense looked bad all night. Dutch should have scored.

It's funny how Banega owned this game even though he played 90 minutes with Atlético in a friendly against IFK Mariehamn. He was absolutely ridicolous in terms of dribbling, had to dribble like 5 people before he passed on Åland :howler:

Still Argentina did not field the likes of Bruno and Pacheco. Should be interesting to watch them two plus Diaz (no. 15) in a full 90 minutes against Egypt and UAE.

The defense is so shaky though.

Pache deserves to be given a chance, he's a great player IMO :proud:

Chile 1 Portugal 0

Chile win the game in the last minute through Martinez.

Portugal the better team on the ball and hit the woodwork a few times. Chile competitive but not looking too threatening until the late goal.

Ukra of Porto was the best attacking player on the pitch until he came off with a knock in the second half. Ruben Lima looks a decent attacking fullback but Portugal didn't use the left side enough with Ukra and Ruben Lima. A few times it looked promising when they linked up. Ruben Lima got caught out for the winning goal at the end out of position caught too forward. Looked good going forward but maybe question marks against him defensively.

The Chile captain and centreback (Juan Abarca) had a decent match as well.

Pacheco, Bruno and Trech have not played a minute yet! It is just so weird to be honest not even playing them as subs! Do not know what Batista has in mind but they are sure to play against UAE next game!
