Thursday will see us return to Europa League action trying to defend a 2-0 lead form the first leg.

Javi Garcia is suspended for the match and this moment, there is no fresh injury concerns.

We've turned our form around in Europe away from home, in just the last 2 years we have defeated Dortmund, Benfica, PSV, FC Porto and Standard Liege on our travels.

I'm confident we will score, we should not be conceding 4 goals in this match which will get us through to the last 8.

I'm predicting this line up

Lodygin
Smolynkov
Garay
Neto
Criscito
Tymoshuck
Witsel
Danny
Hulk
Shatov
Rondon

Not sure if Shatov will be fit after coming off injured at the weekend, there is also a chance Lombaerts might get his place back in place of Neto. Tymoshuck starting in place of the suspended Garcia would be a no brainer. Danny was rested at the weekend and will re-take his place along with the captain's armband from Criscito.

Your aware of the squad restriction put in place by UEFA for European Football for Zenit? Restricted squad? We don't need a 25 man squad for the RPL neither does an established International player be content with not making the Bench for the RPL. We've got things right squad wise in my opinion hence why we are top of our domestic League and still in Europe.

Having 5 players out will mean we don't have many options on the Bench but we had similar problems in the first match and still won 2-0. Only the players on the pitch can win the match. We can't win the match if we have 7 World Class Stars on the Bench.

Arshavin, Kerz and Tymo will all go in the Summer, I would imagine despite being fringe players now, after Hulk and Witsel's wages, there not a million miles away from what the other's get paid.

torin-zenit 0-0 ht.

timochuk and lodygin.:pp

poor game, torino had 2,3 chances to score.

zenit had a good play in the end of the half, that's all.

0-0 Half time.

Very professional disciplined defensive performance, only been a couple of openings for Torino, best chance of half fell to Rondon who screwed the ball wide.

Were playing like a team defending a 2 goal lead.

Criscito is out of the next match, I'm not too concerned as we have 4 other who might be out too, It might be better if another 1 is out too as there will be nothing worse than if we do progress, 4 of them getting booked in the first leg of the next round and being out of the second leg.

Call a hunch, but the ref looks card happy and I'm expecting a possible Red Card.

Let's do this Zenit!

I wouldn't be surprised to see us be more of an attacking force in the second half, after all if we get an away goal, Torino need to score 4 goals in 45 minutes to progress.

We've played the first half perfectly so far, Lodygin has only had 1 shot to save I can remember from a header around 10 yards out. We look really strong as a defensive unit, really limiting any sort of clear scoring opportunities for Torino.

Tymo is obviously not as good as Garcia but normally Fayzulin might have filled in but he is injured, there is only so many players we can have covering another one in the event of injury or suspension.

One of their subs looks like our former player Bruno Alves, anyone know who he is?

Twice Lombaerts has come on with a few minutes on the clock and twice we have conceded from a corner, we seem to lose track of who is picking up who on corners when he have 5 defenders.

Lodygin with 2 amazing double saves.

Danny, Smolynkov and Criscito all out of the next first leg.

Were through though, that's the main thing.

Hulk's available buddy.

Whoever we play, with have players out too.

Are you happy Zenit are through? You don't seem to be showing any positive emotion.
