Of course, the theateratical play by Shakespeare-wannabe Rivaldo and the undertaken action by that bunch of corrupt 'holding hand ****' towards Rivaldo would be on top. I just don't know which deserves to be on top...

And since the WC has finished their first groupmatches, I suppose alot more can be added soon.

Of course Rivaldo´s acting was pathetic.
But I can´t see why that should be more disgraceful than (for example) Hakan Ünsal´s action.

I think something else should top the list, a sign that a german fan held up: "Über Japan lacht die Sonne, über Holland die ganze Welt".
Translation: "Above Japan laughs (=shines) the sun, about ("über" in German can mean "above" and "about", so it´s funnier in German than in English ) Holland the whole world."

MxPx no offense, but that's not something new. In Germany a group has made a song that parodies Holland's failure to reach the WC (you know the "Ohne Holland gehen wir zu WM" thing, only saw it on the news a few days ago hehe) and it reached the first place in their hitparade or something.. plus there are alot of commercials and entertainment shows that made fun about it so the fan can't be blamed as whole Germany is laughing at Holland like that

Btw about Rivaldo... I heard that Korean referee was sent home after that one match, is this true?

Number one has to be the performance by the Portugesse NT. They were the very definition of lackluster.

However, I think that there may be some more shocking things, as the first round is only 33 percent done.

The Korean ref was officiating his last game anyway, i think he already retired. This was a gift to him or sth.

He is home!! Unless you meant they literally have him arrested and restrained at his actual home.

I think that Mills's mistake before Sweden's goal was awful.
The worst referee in my opinion was the one in Paraguay-South Africa. He probably got less attention cause there was not a big team like Brazil in it, but he didn't award a penalty kick in favour of Paraguay at 15 seconds (GK should have been sent off), he let the South African midfielders butcher Santa Cruz and his mates, and he wrapped it up with the penalty for South Africa in injury time.
