*Lizardo Garrido great defender that played as center back and he had been 7° on my list. As full back 3 ° in a evenly group.

*. Carlos Giudice was considered left inside, but because of his deployment, long pass and distance shot, he can perfectly be considered as a wide midfielders.

**Enrique Hormazabal good played of Winger but played much more of attacking midfielder even played for defensive midfielder. Enrique Hormazabal was polyfunctional.

*.. Francisco Molina was nominally a rigth insider, but he played as a creative midfielder.

***In Striker, always appoint to Jorge Robledo was good but also Osvaldo Castro was a great scorer in the chilean league with 137 goals and fifth Mexican league scorer with 214 goals. 351 in total of official goals, is the 9° annotator of history South America and 22° in the world by IFFHS.

****In Winger and Forward I brought up Eduardo Vargas 4° place by that now is the scorer historical of the Copa Sudamericana and twice scorer of Copa América.

*... José Miguel Olguín the cantimplora, also was centro forward.

Acronym:

UL = universal level ( football team of all time )
HL = historical level ( transcended his time in your position)
WL = world level (sure triumph in the world )
NL = national level (very good international level)
CL = club level (idol in your club)

Great polyfunctional Players:

1).- Arturo Vidal Box to box, DM, AM, Full back, Sweeper and Deep-lying Forward.
1).- Jaime Ramirez Banda Winger, Outside Forward, Second Striker and he invented the post of Ghost Wing that move around the all attack by left and right indistinctly.
3).- Jaime Pizarro DM , Left wing back, Box to box, Side Midfielder on both sides, CM, Holding midfielder, Distributor of play, and great goalscorer of long distance.
4).- Enrique Hormazabal Inseder, AM, Support Forward, Box to box, DM.
4).- Rubén Marcos Box to box, DM, AM, Support Forward, Deep-lying Forward.
6).- Gary Medel DM , Left Central Back, Right Full back, Holding midfielder , CM, Distributor of play, and great goalscorer of long distance.

Wow.......was this a project or something you had to work on for school/work ???

Amazing !!!!! :cap:

Me being the colocolino that I am, i have to agree that Roberto "El Condor" Rojas was one of the Best, if not the BEST 'keeper Colo Colo ever had, but the BrazilianBetting Mafia made him turn against Chile, and he DESERVES no recognition for doinn what he did so blatantly !!!!

I wonder, what creative midfielder was the better for Chileans?

Carlos Reinoso or Francisco Valdés.
I underestimate to Valdes?

Jorge Valdivia is my idol :worship:, but I think that despite his huge talent, he has had a bad career, unfortunately he is a boozy .

Also, I think that is underestimated to Ulisses Poirier.

This defender was the best player (and captain) of the Chilean team for the world cup 1930 - and certainly Chile in the World Cup, became 5th -

Chamaco Valdes was even better than Reinoso. Had the great luck of watchinn them both play.

BTW, your man Figueroa in the Avatar, we (me and friends) used to see him go by our block everyday coming back from training in Valparaiso at Santiago Wanderers. He lived just 2 blocks away from us at the CRAV Home Development in Viña.

Funny enough I was there the day he got his teeth knocked out in that NASL game here in the States.

Roberto Rojas is in intensive care in Brasil awaiting for a liver transplant. Things are looking bleak for the man very HATED in Chile for his LONE actions in Maracana way back then when he was actually a player in the Samba Nation.

I leave one samples of this two greats.

Roberto Rojas aright vs Brazil:

He has done what he has done, but Roberto Rojas was a genius and nobody can deny it objectively.

Elias Figueroa has been the soccer defender that more individual distinctions has received in the history of the football.

For something Beckenbauer after the 1974 World Cup said " I am the European Figueroa".

Here I leave an article the FIFA wherein pays homage to Figueroa:
