Sparta and Dunaferr extend records in Reuters rankings

LONDON, May 2 (Reuters)(DS) - Eastern European clubs Sparta Prague and Dunaferr Dunaujvaros extended their proud sequence records in this week's Reuters European club rankings.

Sparta beat Blsany 4-1 away in the Czech Republic, their 14th league victory in succession, beating the previous European
record for the season of 13 held by Cypriot side Anorthosis Famagusta.

Dunaferr, runaway leaders in Hungary, won by the same score away to Zalaegerszeg to extend their record unbeaten run in Europe this season to 26 league matches since losing on the opening day of the Hungarian championship.

There was no change at the top of the overall rankings with Lazio continuing to lead from Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
