They just did an item on MUTV about the bullsh!te the tabloids write.
and it's true, Fergie don't talk to the press anymore... only CL nights because he is contracted too and he never says anything.
everything the tabloids have comes through MUTV and it all BS, its completly different to what I see. They read out articles and played the video to show what they actually said and how it was twisted.

It's just the tabloids trying to get back at them.

You are taking me too seriously. I understand that Sky were reporting the tabloid news. As you said, you are a detail guy. I will always lose the argument with you because I am a big picture guy.

Despite the injuries, I believe these boys need to step it up and start playing like ManUtd players - with a little more pride.

Just for the record, I never supported the Glazer takeover. I thought it was a dumb move - yanks or no yanks. The debt needed for the takeover is way too risky in Football when you have an oil baron down the road with a seemingly endless amount of money to spend on players.

We have no midfield and my concern with these guys is they are not replacing the role players who are ready to retire. It is time for them to grow up and lead on the field.

(I do not include Richardson in my criticism).

when the Ajax youth team came through in the mid 90's they must of expected them to produce another Kluivert, Davids, Seedorf etc

I usually do. It sounds like the same though. No fire in the midfield to get the job done. If Ruud and Rooney get no service, Man Utd will not get goals.

3 years ago, Ruud used to have chances. Now, it seems he only gets a couple of looks at the goal in a game. While defenses are keying on him, the midfield is not causing enough trouble to free him.

We can blame it on injuries, but I find that to be excuses. Injuries only means that the other players need to step it up.

so if Van Nistelrooy and Rooney gets injured Keane has to step up and score 25 yard volleys and Rio has to became a lethal striker.

Don't patronize me. At 41, I am still playing and scoring goals. Having played in many games, I know what the possibilities are. I have played on teams where we came back to beat opposition that were better skilled than us. I have coached teams where we have beaten teams that were better skilled than us. I would ask, how many games do you play in a week? I play twice a week, 11 a side once a week, and coach 5 days a week. How many teams are you actually coaching?

And, don't give me some smartass reply that in the US, we do not play Football here. I am sure it is probably similar to what goes on in England. I play against English guys, Iranian guys, South Americans, and I play with a Russian team - I am our leading scorer and playmaker.

So yes Bentex, if you have been on a Football pitch fighting it out with 10 other guys, anything is possible - it's about keeping your head, keeping your faith, and grinding out the result.

Those players at Man Utd are being paid some good money to wear those nice Nike uniforms and there is no reason they should not be performing at a higher level than they did against Middlesborough or Lille.

why don't Fradi win the CL then? it's only 11 vs 11.

goalpdl, I bet you think its coincidence that Fradi are bottom of the league since they sold all of their best players

strange that isnt it? all their best players go and the results go bad

whats even more weird is since Chelsea have spent $350Million and got better players they have won the premiership. What a waste of money ..... Goalpdl could of gone there and coached the previous players like De Lucas, Bogarde, Le Bouf, Gronkjaer etc.
Would of saved them millions

did you know only Henry has scored more goals than Yakubu in the last two seasons?
or Rochemback has played for Brazil and Barcelona at the highest level?.... and as for Mendieta, other teams have great players also.

but they have two forwards who play for Barca and Juventus againts our Gyepi and Balog? what then?
Hungary never played as good as the played againts Sweden for years...and previous it was againts Sweden. And that game was lost too.
