I agree, i don't like Silva getting 3 million, at all. Let's get into a more stable financial position first, then be offering wages like that. For Villa, no complaints, but Silva, not yet. But at the same time you could say, if you want to keep your "best" (Second most valued in Silva's case) players happy, and with more security for the club, then it should be done. When, Villa and Silva extend there contracts, they will just about 100% stay with the club, unless Chelsea or something feel like breaking record fees...

Silva should be earning at max 2.2 or so, but since we're looking to exploit him then I guess he deserves 3...

I mean currently, his probably earning like 1.4-1.5.
