Kalamata's experienced defender Christos Mikes has signed a 3 year contract with Ionikos.The experienced hard man was a former player of Panahaiki and was once considered a huge talent but he never fullfiled the expectations.

Defenders Gianis Kallintzakis (31) and Nikos Kostenoglou (30),midfielder Dimitris Markos (28) and wing back Evripidis Katsavos (24) have terminated their contracts with AEK Athens after request of coach Dimitris Pathiakakis.The first three have all been capped for Greece while Katsavos is a former U-21 international.

Gianis Kalintzakis has signed a 2 year contract with Ethnikos Asteras following his release from AEK.The "Nadal" of Greek football will be payed 60 million GDR per year.Meanwhile,Ethnikos Asteras president Nikos Papadopulos wants to sign either Dimitris Markos who was released by AEK or Spyros Marangos who will soon be released by PAOK.

Paniliakos has completed the purchase of two vastly experienced Serbian players.Sinisa Gogic from Olympiakos and Dragan Mitic of OFI have signed 2 years contract each with the Peloponisian club.The two players are the first signings of new coach Katsavakis.

OFI is really interested in signing midfielder Dimitris Ipirotis if he gets released from Panathinaikos while Costrican midfielder Munoz has impressed on his trial and looks set to sign a 3 year contract with the Crete club.Meanwhile former international midfielder Kostas Marinakis will probably leave OFI after 2 years.Ionikos and Panionios are interested.
