Why you so sarcastic? Rather Turkey then Norway, anytime. Second, I was hoping we would lose the game so Muzur can pack his bags and go to hell together with Radeljic, Bajic and other "great" players he found. Maybe now, we can hope that Pasalic will go away. Maybe now, we can have a national coach who will work independed and have balls to say to all managers that makes money trought the NT to fuk off, and do his job.
South Africa? With Muzurovic and the current peopel around NT we will not even make it to Malta.

btw, are we in the famous third hat or fourt, considering that Hungary lost too?

We need a few things to align and they need to start on Friday.

1. Hopefully we get a good group. We will get some good countries, you can't get away from that, but hopefully we get ones that work better for us. Ie. physically strong nations, more defensive ones. I think that works better for us. I like Italy, Sweden, those types of teams.

2. Pasalic needs to leave. I want a guy like Barbarez, or a good soccer guy, being part of the decision making process in terms of who the new manager will be.

3. Bring in the new manager.

If those things happen, I will have hope again. If not, its going to be really hard to expect anything different.

I was right, we are in Pot 4:

The 2010 World Cup qualifying draw for UEFA will be conducted in Durban, South Africa on Sunday. Croatia are placed in Pot 1, meaning they will avoid teams like: Italy, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Portugal, Netherlands and Greece.

Qualifying begins in August 2008, and this qualifying cycle will have a different system than the Euro qualifiers. Firstly, there are 9 groups, 8 of them will have 6 teams, one will only have 5. The group winners go to the World Cup directly while the best 8 second placed teams will play in a playoff, meaning 4 will qualify via playoffs, meaning UEFA will send 13 teams, quite low in my opinion!

Here is the full list of teams in the WC qualifying draw
Pot 1
- Italy
- Spain
- Germany
- Czech Republic
- France
- Portugal
- Netherlands
- Croatia
- Greece

Pot 2
- England
- Romania
- Scotland
- Turkey
- Bulgaria
- Sweden
- Russia
- Poland
- Israel

Pot 3
- Serbia
- Norway
- Ukraine
- Denmark
- Northern Ireland
- Ireland
- Finland
- Switzerland
- Belgium

Pot 4
- Slovakia
- Hungary
- Bosnia-Herzegovina
- Moldova
- Macedonia
- Wales
- Belarus
- Lithuania
- Cyprus

Pot 5
- Georgia
- Albania
- Slovenia
- Latvia
- Iceland
- Armenia
- Austria
- Kazakhstan
- Liechtenstein

Pot 6
- Azerbaijan
- Estonia
- Malta
- Luxembourg
- Montenegro
- Andorra
- Faroe Islands
- San Marino

Best group would be

Greece-they did beat us twice but are the easiest in pot1
Israel-very solid team but id rather face them than anyone else in pot 2
Belgium-have a younger team but arent anything special
BiH
Liectenstein-not as bad as SanMarino or Lux but still the worstin that pot
San Marino-no comment

Worst would be

Germany-playing great football,always tough
Romania-IMO playing the best football in Europe right now
Ukraine-Shevchenko and Voronin are always tough
BiH
Latvia
Azerbaijan

Bosna is not a bad team, they are pretty tough to beat tbh.

Anyways lets hope to see Bosna in WC2010

There is if this clueless coach is sacked and all the players return. Remember that we almost qualified in our two campaigns prior to the last one and Baka wasn't a genius either so you never know ...
to be quite honest mate i'm sick of our 'almosts'
