No, it's not a Bayern München thread. It's a thread about the GDR- record-champion Berliner FC Dynamo (10 consecutive championships ... important players: Anreas Thom, Thomas Doll, Rainer Ernst ... most important coach: Jürgen Bogs ... important mentor: Erich Mielke :D)
Nowadays they play in fourth Division and are 3rd placed at the moment. You might say thats pretty weak for a record champion. Well, BFC has seen worse days, having been insolvent some years ago and having had to fight their way back from absolute football-nomansland to 4rth division at least. A situation more and more clubs from the former GDR have to face, momentually new-found 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig, successor of the insolvent VfB Leipzig and named after the famous GDR-club. So far my information I fear nobody wants to know but if anybody has questions or a say about traditional GDR-clubs you can ask them here.

Here's the newest on BFC Dynamo:
After having not lost 16 games in a row the BFC-board baffled their supporters by anouncing this week that they would not apply for a license for Regional Division. BFC are on 3rd rank in the Oberliga at the moment and 11 points from the leader Hansa Rostock B. So the chances to promote wouldnt be that great anyway. We will see how this will influence the players performances next week as this weeks BFC-game fell victim to the snow and got cancelled thus,
