Im thinking of going too Spain and see some footballmatches , so im wondering how is the Zaragoza homecrowd?
The 3 teams i want to see live is , Celta Vigo , Espanyol and ofc Zaragoza.
I've been some kind of busy.

What's happening with Ricardo Oliveira these days, is he injured? I can't find any news on him and he's not scored for ages.
No, he´s fine. Altough he was doubtfull for today but it seems that he'll be ready. It's true that he had a little injury, and probably the rumours about offers for him (from R.Madrid, ManCity,..) affected him, but in essence he is just having a bad streak

Long time no update.
Some reports in Zaragoza say it's 8-10 millions of euros.
Oliveira seems to be on his way to either Sevilla or Lyon for about 15M.
On behalf the team, we are now on 4th place, tied with the 3rd and two points behind the first. We have just lost two in a row, and this weekend play against Levante in La Romareda. Should win by any means.

The fee hasn't been confirmed yet but he will supposedly be presented tomorrow. Is he any good?

Never seen him playing tbh. People rate him highly, but I have no idea how good he will be.
It seems a wise move. Selling Oliveira (29yo) who didn't want to stay and buying some young promise with lower wages and some desire to play here.

Yeah, wise move definitely but Oliviera seems to be going back to Betis and not Sevilla or Lyon.

He is a suport foward.. not the kind of guy who scores a lot..
Very good pass e decision moves, but he can really get sleppy on some games.. even so, was the top scorer of my team last year...

So the deal fell through for Guilherme AND they sold Oliveira to Betis. Thats awful.
Who will now partner Ewerthon upfront? Braulio, Arizmendi?

Braulio indeed :howler: Last Sunday he partnered Ewerthon as we beat Levante 2-1 at La Romareda.
Ewerthon scored the first goal and Arizmendi who replaced Braulio scored the second one.
Way better game than last weeks. Also a young guy, Ander Herrera made his debut for the first team. He looks like really good :thumbsup:
The Guilherme deal collapsed since Kiev offered more money as it seems.
Oliveira 50% was sold for €9M to Betis. If any club comes in in July and wants to buy Oliveira, Betis has to allow Zaragoza to negotiate and sell him or either buy the other 50% of the player.
Only one new signing: Leo Ponzio, former player.

Honestly, I don't have a clue. We are not playing brilliantly and only managed to stay 4th (tied for 3rd) due to our strong form at La Romareda and our strikers (Ewerthon and Oliveira)
Now that Oliveira is gone, we will see if the team improves. Ricardo Oliveira had an awful streak for the last couple of months (he scored once or twice) and the team suffered.
Marcelino also wanted their strikers to press the other team defenders and demand a high work rate.
All being said, now we rely on Ewerthon (pichichi of the league with 14 goals) and one of Braulio/Arizmendi.
We have to improve at any cost our defense and stop conceding so many goals. Ponzio might help in the midfield and Ayala might lose his job at CB. A young lad called Goni is really doing a great season so anybody partnering him would be a good choice.
Also, Diogo (injured last season for 6 months) should come back soon. He is great attacking RB and should help a lot.
I have hopes for us to get promoted, but there are a lot of teams capable of doing it as well.

The best performance so far.

We have dominated the entire game for 90minutes, played absolutely brilliant with Frank Songo'o wide right a young superstar in the make, called Ander Herrera playing the advanced midfield role and Caffa wide left.
If we keep this level of playing in the upcoming games I'm quite positive we will start winning more games.
