It would be great but the papers are saying that their highest paid players are Vardy and Kasper with wages of over 100k per week. Eriksen's wages would "smash" those numbers and Rodgers has suggested Eriksen's out of their price range. If he's going anywhere, it seems Spurs is the more likely destination atm. Hopefully, Leicester are just posturing.

Everyone knows the eriksen situation, inters financial situation and how they are desperate to get rid of him.

Is only natural that interested teams are trying to get him for a few money af possible. I'm sure as we get closer towards the end of the window, someone will eventually agree to pay the entire salary.

I suppose inter could even agree to pay 25% of his salary, would be 5-6m saved. Better than nothing.

Eriksen will be a good backup for Maddison.

Weird to move from the Inter bench to the Leicester bench tbh.

Real Madrid deny Hakimi dispute with Inter
Football Italia

Real Madrid have taken the unusual step of releasing a statement decrying the ‘outright false’ reports they want to repossess Achraf Hakimi from Inter.

The report was on the front page of the Corriere dello Sport this morning, suggesting the signed agreement between the clubs to delay the first €10m instalment was no longer valid.
The player’s agent denied there were any problems and now Real Madrid have released a formal statement.

“With regards to the information published by the Corriere dello Sport about alleged tension between our club and Inter Milan, Real Madrid CF wants to make clear that such reports are outright false.

“Real Madrid has not at any time required an alleged guarantee from Inter Milan, as stated in the publication.

“The terms of the player’s transfer to Inter are framed in the usual and normal contractual relationships between football clubs.

“That is especially true in this case with Inter Milan, with whom Real Madrid have always maintained and continues to maintain excellent relationships as a historic and friendly club.”

---

Good to see Corriere being put in their place

I think they should focus more on the problems at Roma.

Apparently Roma have offered a straight swap between eriksen and cuntes wet dream dzekosaurus, yet we have rejected the proposal.

Makes it pretty obvious that we are desperate to lower the wage bill and wants to offload eriksen in a non-swap deal only.

Wonder if cunte will whine about it.

Yea but cunte likes him.

The management has done everything to obey his wishes, no matter how absurd. So we must really be in deep trouble if they deny him this opportunity to get one of his favorite dinosaurs at the expense of a player he doesn't value at all.

If it's a 6 month loan then I don't mind Dzeko tbh. Would he accept the bench though? Dunno. But he still finishes better than Lautaro. And Dzeko > Pinamonti.

He was running the pitch for Roma in games just a few weeks ago. But against us and Spezia for example, he wasn't really visible. I think he'd be pretty useful as a 3rd striker given our set-up. But like N4L says, questions about accepting the bench. The reason why we aren't pursuing him is his wages which are reported to be similar to Eriksen's. If that's right, Mandzukic would have made much more sense. So as Azz said, it really looks like we only want low wage players atm...unless we sell Eriksen and perhaps one or two others.

Hopefully the Dzeko-Sanchez swap is just a bs rumor

Seems it could indeed happen, Roma's director meeting with Inter

Ridiculous.

Allegri to Roma according to reports, with a salary about 1/3 of contes.

Absurd if true.

As for dzeko sanchez. Sanchez is almost 3 years younger, but he is quite ineffective imo. We need better finishing in attack, both sanchez and lautaro are pretty bad in this aspect. Dzeko would surely be an upgrade in that regard and we all know conte has had a crush on him for a long time.

Sanchez is a player we can use in a trident if we are chasing a match as he can play behind the front 2 or wide, plus he is our best assister from last season and also assisted this season, it's not just about finishing/scoring. An absolutely dumb swap if it goes through. Worse is sending Pinamonti to Roma too, great idea to complete the season with 3 similar CFs. It's as if we are helping Roma go through their Fonseca-Dzeko crisis while weakening ourselves. I don't mind Dzeko but not at the expense of Sanchez and possibly our 4th striker too.

Hey may be if Roma fancy a CB we can swap De Vrij for Ibanez too.

Idiotic.

Hopefully the Ultras try to stop this like they did with Guarin-Vucinic.

Bizarre idea given that Sanchez is the only non-centre forward out of our 4 forwards.

If Pinamonti is included then we'd go from 3 CFs and 1 SS to just 3 CFs for half a season.

Don't really see the logic although I agree that Dzeko would likely finish some of the chances Lautaro misses. He is f**king slow though.

Worth noting Sanchez has 5 goal involvements vs. Dzeko's 8, but Sanchez' came in half the number of minutes. But obviously Sanchez is much more of a creator these days....

If Pina is included we definitely learned nothing from Radja-Zaniolo's transfers.

The person okaying this would deserve to be fired.

So you have no problem with Sanchez leaving but the guy who is merely a last choice reserve leaving is the issue?

Pinamonti will only be backup cf at Roma if he moves there, Borja Mayoral will take the Dzeko role and Pinamonti the backup to Mayoral, like Mayoral was backup to Dzeko.

We didn't regret letting go of Destro, Longo, Acquafresca, Bonazzoli etc..

Don't really regret Zaniolo, 2 ACL injuries are a lot, not even sure where he would play at this Inter tbh. Let's see what he does in the next 2 or 3 seasons because before injuries his numbers weren't amazing.

Its a loan... Try reading the article.

Also Pinamonti is hardly as big a talent as Zaniolo.

Most likely Pinamonti will be another Longo, Bonazzoli etc etc, the list overhyped forwards amongst Inter primavera, who turned out to be nothing but hot garbage, is quite long.
