It's good to see interest from more than one company/firm especially in this delicate time. The name of Inter too attractive.

There is talk of a 1B euro valuation but that seems ridiculous

Regardless if there is a takeover or not, we won't see "large amounts of money being pumped into the upcoming transfer windows". I dont know where some people here are getting these wild ideas from.
There are FFP exemptions for teams with new owners, and owners who can cover previous losses, as long as the club is not under FFP review (which Inter isn't).

The financial years 2020 and 2021 are also merged into one for FFP purposes as an emergency measure.

The losses from 2020 are obviously horrific, so it remains to be seen what leeway is permitted. Suning would have surely covered much of the losses if the CCP had allowed them to invest their own money in the club

Report: Mandzukic agrees Milan move
Football Italia

There are reports this evening that Milan agreed personal terms with Mario Mandzukic for a six-month contract and he already had some medical tests.

According to Milannews24.com and Calciomercato.it, Mandzukic and his agent have already agreed personal terms.

He is set to sign a contract worth €2m in wages for six months as a free transfer following his brief spell with Al-Duhail.

The report claims the former Juventus striker has passed some fitness tests and will have a full medical over the next 48 hours.

Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more claim Milan are in negotiations with Mandzukic, but that a deal hasn't been done yet.

The 34-year-old Croatia international already played in Serie A from July 2015 to January 2020 at Juventus.

2mill, 6 months..

We certainly should have tried to bring him here.

Yes, idiotic not to take a strong , versatile striker with tons of trophies and experience.

Looks like ACM will also sign a defender and midfielder. They may well win this championship.

I read intet rejected the idea of signing him about a week ago.

He is almost 35 and has barely played for 1,5 years so he is completely lacking match fitness. That is probably the reason we didn't go for him.

Hopefully he flops but we still should get a forward. Hopefully Pinamonti is gone soon and we replace him.

Milan is signing Meité to play midfield, he'll make an impact. Very good signing.

His assist to Zaza against us was very smart. He also scored against us in the 2-2 match of 18-19.

No idea if this is correct or not but Massimo Moratti back would be awesome.

That sounds pretty unrealistic unless BC Partners is actually a charity rather than an investment firm.

Why would they invest a huge amount of money only to install a guy who wasn't exactly known for running Inter in a fiscally responsible manner?

Official: Esposito moves to Venezia
Football Italia

Venezia have officially announced the arrival of Sebastiano Esposito, who moves on loan from Inter.

The striker has spent the first six months at SPAL, but terminated his contract at the Paolo Mazza and was immediately loaned out to Venezia, who sit four points behind the Biancazzurri in Serie B.

“Venezia FC announce to have reached an agreement with Internazionale FC for the loan of striker Sebastiano Esposito until June 30, 2021,” the club wrote in a statement.

Esposito, capped once by Italy U21, has played 13 games for SPAL in the first half of 2020-21, scoring once for the Ferrara club.

The 18-year-old has played 15 games for Inter.

Looks like we are changing club emblem/logo (it has been changed many times in the past, most recently 2010) and actual club name : “Football Club Internazionale Milano” to “Inter Milano” .

Wonder if it is connected to the impending new ownership...

Milan have made 3 signings:

Tomori, Meite and Manzdukic.

Weird that they can get a Chelsea reserve on loan with option to buy.... maybe it's still the Conte connection preventing us from getting Alonso/Palmieri. Who knows.

OK, the name change was BS, according to Antonello (club CEO).

Didn't prevent us from getting Moses on loan though

A free agent and 2 loans

Milan have done well tbh in the winter mercato

On the other hand we did shit... surely we could at least swap Pinamonti for a more experienced striker within the league or loan someone in? No need for multi millions for that...

I still maintain we don't need LWB now anyhow with 5-6 options for that position in the current squad.
