FT: Valencia 1 Malaga 1

I haven't seen Malaga that much this season but they look like a really good team. Im particulary impressed with Goitia, Gamez, Eliseu, Apono, Duda and even Albert Luque and Salva look like they're back to their old selves. Love their attacking mentality, they perhaps could be a dark horse team to get that 4th CL spot. That would be something.

Yeah, what a chance they had to get into the top 4 but looks like they were fairly beat. I dont think they have the experience or the composure to get into the CL next season, Villareal and Sevilla should take those 3rd and 4th spots.

Theyre saying that hes a Kuwaiti player on trial in the next days in Malaga and hes close to Benachour who says that hes going to try out for a week or 10 days. Benachour also says that hes a fast, techinical player that can play on the right wing, middle or even upfront. He dribbles well and is one of the best players in Kuwait, is very happy to be here and believes that is a great fit for Malaga.

That Quincy dude is pretty impressive, even Zokora couldnt overcome his physicality and dispossess him off the ball. Hopefully things go well for Malaga, they're a nice team to watch but just have too many brain farts that kill them. Like that 2nd Sevilla goal was a huge mistake from Galatto.

Jesualdo Ferreira was fired after a disastrous start to the season for Malaga and the club have officially hired Manuel Pellegrini for the job. Should change the fortunes of the team who really are underachieving.

They desperately need a new stadium. La Rosaleda is outdated and the pitch is absolute shit most of the time but Baptista and Almunia? I thought when these rich oil mongols were going to take over Malaga that they will be a little more adventurous with signings. Malaga has a nice little attacking team, just needs a couple of tweaks defensively and the team will be really solid.

Yeah, that was truly embarrassing for Malaga. Their defence was absolute garbage, they definitely need a couple of reinforcements there in the transfer window.

3-0 loss to Atletico and honestly that was an absolutely pathetic display. Pellegrini looks like he doesnt even know his players and it was evident with the 3 halftime substitutions. Awful results since he has taken over.

Demechilis has been signed from Bayern on loan till the end of the season. The guy is garbage and i dont know how hes going to help Malaga's woes, more quality is needed.

If they only had real centerbacks (not the garbage in Demichelis, Weligton, Stadsgaard) they would really be an extremely solid team. The sheiks can do better than Demichelis for pete's sake.

Moya was great in Mallorca, i dont know what happened to him at Valencia but he needs a fresh start somewhere else and Malaga might be the right place for that.

Malaga really needs to start getting some wins, its almost March and they're still in last place. Next game against Almeria is going to be a crucial 6 pointer against a fellow relegation battler, that game is also a must win because Malaga plays Real Madrid at the Bernabeu the following game.
