Tuchel calls out Juve
Football Italia

Thomas Tuchel claims ‘Juventus have also been waiting a long time’ to win the Champions League, in defence of his Paris Saint-Germain record.

Tuchel was only appointed PSG boss a year ago but could not prevent the French giants suffering another last-16 exit last month.

However, the German called out Juve after they extended their own winless run in the competition.

“The Champions League is an objective, but Juventus have also been waiting for a long time to win it again,” he told Canal+.

“Our objective remains to win a League and cup double every season. The first one has been accomplished and if we win the French Cup then this season will be positive.

“The campaign has shown that we’ve worked hard. We must beat Rennes on Saturday.”

I love how Tuchel used juve as the benchmark for failure in Europe to justify his own failure in Europe.

Clubs line up for Ciano
Football Italia

SPAL, Genoa and Cagliari have all reportedly asked after Frosinone striker Camillo Ciano after his team was relegated.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the 29-year-old forward is seen by those three clubs as a possible target to help strengthen their attacking options for next season

The Canarini have offered the attacker a contract renewal, but he would like to stay in the top flight, and not drop back down to Serie B.

Reminds me with Zlatan leaving juve in 2006 :lala:

Report: Mourinho rules out Juve
Football Italia

Jose Mourinho has reportedly ruled himself out of the running to become Juventus’ next Coach due to his Inter past.

According to AS, Cristiano Ronaldo proposed Mourinho to Juve’s board as a possible replacement for Max Allegri.

The Portuguese pair worked together at Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, and the No 7 allegedly expressed a belief that his countryman would help the Bianconeri finally end their wait for a Champions League.

However, the newspaper writes he is not prepared to break his rapport with Inter.

Wednesday marks nine years since the former Chelsea boss led the Nerazzurri to the Champions League, thereby completing a historic Treble.

if true then it's nice from Jose to respect his Inter past. Especially as Inter are going for a different manager this summer, not him.
