What is the most defining moment for your club/s??? what was the event that made everything that follow it fantastic to support your team?? Or vice versa what was the key moment that left your club in the lurch it is in now???

Portsmouth - Milan Mandaric coming in and saving us from extinction in 1999

Rangers - Celtic winning the league in 1998 and stopping our dominance

moving from Woolwich to Highbury in 1913.

our biggest moment hasn't happened yet though, it will happen in less than two years when we move around the corner to Drayton Park to our new 60,000 seat stadium.

Becoming the first British team (non-Latin actually) to win the European Cup in 1967.

Or, when the rebels led the "sack the board" campaign to overthrow the old family dynasty that took Celtic to within hours of being bankrupt in 1994, which led to a massive regeneration of Celtic, inc a new 60,000 all seater stadium, league title wins and a European final within 10 years.

Corinthians

1954- Winning the 400 year Sao Paulo trophy :)

1968 - Ending the 11 year run of not beating Santos of Pele :)

1974- Expelling Rivelino from our club for being a coward git

1976- Biggest ever away fan invasion into another stadium. Actually it was the biggest movement of people in the world from one location to another without the reason being war or religion! Corinthians were 22 years without a major trophy and we packed 70K fans in the Maracana against Fluminense in Rio. It was a 10 hour drive for all buses & cars :)

1977- 23 years of no Sao Paulo state trophies coming to an end:)

1982- The year of the "Corinthians Democracy", which helped Brazil go back to a democracy and end the years of military regime :) Everything was decided on the vote internally within the club.

1990 - We win our first Brazilian championship title, wiht a goal scored with the knee and the other was a slide tackle..... pure Corinthians style:):)

2000- Corinthians win the FIFA First Club World Title:):):)

2004 - Kia Joorbichian's MSI signs a multi-million dollar contract with Corinthians, and has plans to make the brand (which is the most powerful of Sao Paulo state & Second of Brazil), be the biggest of the left side of the Atlantic :):):)

Probably Dickov's equaliser against Gillingham in 1999. If we'd have lost that we'd never have got promoted again and maybe gone bankrupt.

How sad is that though? A Division 2 playoff the most important event for us having won the European CUp Winners' Cup, the League, FA Cup and League Cup? Tells you how much money plays a part nowadays.

As to my Cementarnica, the most important was taking a Macedonian Cup in 2003, when Cementarnica beat Sloga in final 4-4 (3-2 penalties).

Winning the European Cup in 91. It's the pinnacle of our achievements, the season after was the last time we have competed in Europe's premier competition.

I'd also probably say the sanctions being put in place in 92, causing us to fall behind, having to sell all our players with the funds being frozen in banks. All that has probably led to our downfall along with some really poor management in recent years.
