after paying close attention to liga leumit, i find out that its pretty tight end competion to get promoted there, between whos gonna get 2nd place or not... Before i thought it was a runaway, but with 5 rounds to go, there is a potential to grab 2nd place between a few teams....even 1st if the #1 maverick F.C; Hapoel Kfar Saba succumbs to its woes...

Yeah I managed to jinx Netanya apparently when I said it's done. and Kfar Saba lost at home too, there's another shocker for you. The games at Kiryat Shmona, Acco and Ramat Gan this weekend are very critical. Netanya has one of the worst away records for anyone let alone a top team I remember, and Hakoach have been playing some good cup football this year so it will be damn tough for Netanya. Acco are coming from a win against the same Netanya, and Rishon Lezion who are very close to 2nd place play against the team that beat Kfar Saba on Saturday...some great battles indeed.

Ironi Rishon Le Zion still has a chance to clinch it..

right now, it doesn't look like a tie, but a long shot, between 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd...

Seems that there is only 4 rounds left and there is still a couple of points to be one... I think that after this, we can actually call whos gonna be promoted or not..

I still have to see for relegation, as my beloved hometown, still tries to stay alive!

It happens every year, Kfar Saba with a strong start and then a very weak finish...losing 4:0 is pretty embarassing, but they are still in a very good spot and I think it's too late for them to lose promotion. 1 more win should seal it.

As for Netanya it looks like they will make it too but they have been playing terrible for the last few matches and I've heard numerous critics of Atar. I think they'll edge it but 3 points is not a big gap for a team that never wins on the road.

And sorry Kappa your Holon are going down their chances are gone.

But with 4 rounds left, there is a good healthy 12 points on the line...
12 points can get any team from 1st place to even..9th place (unrealisticly speaking) into promotion box...

to be precise...Rishon le Zion and Akko may make an upset with Netanya...if things go well for them! Im not sure if Hap. Kfar Saba will be getting any upsets, they look in the drivers seat.

My prediction is one loss to Kfar Saba out of 4 games...

a nice 61 points to end the season!

with only 2 rounds to go after this one, it looks as if the Gap for Promotion has just gone gapier....even withouth both teams who are promised promotion; Hapoel Kfar Saba and Maccabi Netanya, who have lost.....

the chances for the other teams to try and get some glory, seems to be deemed off...

Pending on how much these 2 promising teams suck and how much the other 2 teams below them perform, the only big surprises i can see it between the top 4 teams...

*Mind you im writing this 2 days before Acco is to play the stuggling Hap. Jerusalem. Say they win the game on May 16th as well as the next too, then they can easily get into 1st and possibly 2nd place.

With Rishon Le Zion, they too have a chance, but it seems like a long shot, since they already played...they lost unfortnatately :rollani: but if they win the other two games they hve and watch Akko and Netanya lose these next 3 and 2 games respectively...
they might be able to get by with 50 pts and then duke it out with Mac. netanya on something like Goal differentials.. which Rishon has +3 goals (36-33) deficit and Netanya has +12 (40-28) ..yet....nothing like 12 goals in 180 minutes of play, especially in the tightnik of the last 2 rounds..

Hapoel Kfar Saba are trying to repeat last year's ending: After comfortably leading the table for so long they collapsed in the final stage and were left without promotion. This season it's the same but they're still with very good chances, I don't think they'll lose this promotion but who knows. Netanya have been playing very bad for the last two months, especially away from home and Acco, who have defeated both teams, can definitely take over one of the first two places. Rishon will not promote. It's a fight of three teams but in the end I predict there will be no surprises and the first two teams will be back up.

Hapoel Kfar Saba are 2:0 up against Herzeliya after 36 minutes, considering Kfar Saba need just one point and Acco are 1:0 down against Kiryat Shmona it's safe to say Kfar Saba are back in Ligat Ha'Al today.

Maccabi Netanya on the other hand are losing 1:0 at home against Ramat Hasharon, they might get in trouble but as long as Acco are losing they are pretty much safe, despite the fact Rishon can close the gap to 3 points the goal difference is too big to close (+3 for Rishon, +11 for Netanya).

I knew Kfar Saba/Netanya would clinch it, but there are always chances. You gotta take chances in Soccer, and i guess Netanya is now bound for the win!

There gonna get a new stadium and a new investment and i think they should be in the top leauge...hopefully they will get some players who can actually do the trick.
