I was too young to follow Toro then so I know about those guys and matches only from stories. That's why I would appreciate if you ladies and gentleman can write your memories and impressions from the happy days at the start of the 90-es.
Dude you have to get some footage of those days they were a great team to watch in full flight.
Get some Gigi Lentini clips!!!

There was a prgram on him a year back...man..class
Do you guys know where can I download some Lentini clips? I've allready heard that he was a real magician with the ball while playing for Toro but unfortunately like most of our biggest talents he was sold in Milan. Then he had a car accident and wasn't the same player anymore. And is it true that the fans organised protests because the selling of Gigi?

P.S. Just one more question: Was he a left or a right winger?
Yes there was a pretty serious backlash from the torino Fans after the sale of Lentini to Milan,He was the hottest thing going around and the fans really took it hard as you would think.
We took it very hard. Also for a Lentini sentence on a newspaper. Great player, his career broken by the wife of a Giuventus striker.

Che poi era pure brutta, minchia.

You sure about Baggio?because he's a very devoted family man for many years and married for at least 15.
No no, nothing about Baggio and wife... it was just the wife of Schillaci. Anyway, good for Schillaci, he understood that his wife was a bitch and now his girlfriend is a bit better than his former wife.

My opinion is that Torino in the 90s were not so much better than Torino in the 80s, even if they reached the final of the UEFA Cup.
For example Torino were second in serie A in 1984-85 and had players like the Brazilian ace Junior, the forward Aldo Serena, the offensive midfielder Beppe Dossena, the Austrian forward Schachner (who used to shoot 3 metres over the bar but whose run was unstoppable for the opponents) and very tough defenders.
Attendance in the Derbies were around 60,000 at the old Comunale and there were very high attendances even in other games (50,000 in the game vs Verona, scudetto winners). I remember the "distinti" full of people when my father took me to my first Torino-Sampdoria.
