Celtic boss Martin O'Neill has asked super Slovak Lubo Moravcik

to consider one more season at the Parkhead club.

O'Neill admitted "I think at the moment Lubo has made his mind

up but he should wait until the last possible moment. come

May, if he's not in too bad shape and all of the alternatives

are not what he wants at that moment then you never know" but

in a statement which is ominous for some of the younger players

particularly Maloney, O'Neill added "If we did manage to find

some up and coming kid who we felt had the potential to replace

Lubo then it might make all our minds up".

The Parkhead boss also said "I wouldn't mind loaning some

players out to give them experience. It would be nice for

Maloney to get a run of games elsewhere".

After Celtic secured their passage in to the 5th round of the

Scottish cup courtesy of a 2-0 win over Kilmarnock. Bpbby

Williamson said "We've got a young pool of players and Celtic

didn't have any Under-21 players in the squad and if it was up

to the old firm they wouldn't have any at all but we will keep

banging the drum for Scotiish players.

Sounds like a great opportunity for a first division club to

bring in some quality on the short term.

i tihnk the only way scottish football can advance is if they allow players to be loaned within the SPL, only not letting them play against the owner club.
