Gvardiol has star potential and is btw stronger then Vuskovic. Vuskovic pace worries me. He is good in the air and good on the ball. Good passing range as well. Gvardiol for me has it all. Has good pace is strong reads the game well good passer calm under pressure. He’s not great i the air as he’s not all that tall but is a very good athlete.
That would be correct.

With the amount of CB's I wouldn't be surprised to see Gvardiol play as RB/LB at times for our NT. He's played LB for Dinamo. And like you guys say the guy can do anything. Pretty sure he can play striker if need be lol.
Bring him up, go slow with his development though, and I'm sorry if that sounds like a contradiction, but this guy has the goods and has excellent nogomet acumen and can help us at top level.

Recommend you watch nogometni podcast with Romeo Jozak. Gives a good explanation on why players like Halilovic and Coric did not make it big in senior football. Fears that Antonio Marin is along the same path as Halilovic and Coric. Probably to late for Marin as he has similar character to Halilovic and Coric.

Unfortunately some of these young guys left too early and went for the money...and in the long run, ironically cost themselves more money....

Jozak didn't mention one glaring problem with both Ćorić and Halilović (Marin fits the bill too) and that's the physical deficiencies they had/still have. He put it down to a mix of urgency, desire and that "extra" 5-10% a player needs when stepping up.

Halil is soft. Plenty of small guys out there but he's nowhere near as tough as he has to be. While Ćorić is simply slow. Given time on the ball and when allowed to play at his own pace Ćorić looked amazing but outside the HNL he was never going to be afforded that luxury. Similar case with Marin.

Compare them to the other guys who have made it (Kova, Broz and even Rog etc.) they don't have these physical issues. While probably all except Kova are less talented than the above-mentioned duo-trio they can all run and compete physically at a higher level.

Rakitic was also slow but transformed his game after Felix Magaath became trainer at Schalke. If Coric was willing to transform his game like Ivan did he probably would have had a good career.

Rakitić is a different class. He's also a lot bigger than Ćorić, stronger.

Kranjčar didn't have pace but was also big and strong. Smart player, too.

Looking at the current crop of repka and u21 players we are pretty much set at every position apart from striker and right back. Anyone know of any prospects to keep an eye on?
