So it was the first round this weekend. Coventry the biggest team to drop out to a non-league club, deservedly losing 2-1 at the Ricoh to Worcester City. Idiotic sending off from Birde, the keeper, for kicking out.

Elsewhere Dover beat Morcambe and Chester beat Southend.

There are still some non-league teams in the hat for the Second Round such as Blyth, Dartford and Eastleigh

Yeah they have some FA Cup pedigree. There are a number of non-league teams who seem to do well many times. Dagenham & Redbridge for example used to, before becoming a league club, and so did Stevenage. Same with Altrincham, although they never made it to the Football League. Wealdstone are another, same with Maidstone.

Really good weekend. Worcester City and Sean Geddes (the rabona fella from an earlier round) are still in the competition. Drew 1-1 today against Scunthorpe.

Saw the end of Colchester - Peterbrough. The Posh missed a shit pen by Aaron McClean, a minute later hit the post then out of nowhere Colchester ran up the pitch and scored. Classic smash and grab at the end of a match.

today was the 3rd round draw, where the EPL and Championship sides enter. Not too many interesting ties of note, in fact a lot of Premier League sides are facing each other including a repeat of last seasons final at the Emirates. Also a lot of Championship sides facing each other as well

The only non-league side who have qualified as of now to the 3rd round, Blyth Spartans drew Birmingham City at home. Two Conference sides face Premier League opposition. One of Accrington Stanley or Yeovil will play Man United at home. Wimbledon vs. Liverpool could be interesting

Doncaster Rovers vs. Bristol City
Preston North End vs. Norwich City
Accrington Stanley/Yeovil Town vs. Manchester United
QPR vs. Sheffield United
Barnsley/Chester vs. Middlesbrough
Chelsea vs. Watford
Cambridge/Mansfield vs. Luton Town
Everton vs. West Ham United
Scunthorpe/Worcester vs. Chesterfield
Leicester City vs. Newcastle United
Fulham vs. Wolves
Brentford vs. Brighton
Derby County vs. Southport
Millwall vs. Bradford City
Burnley vs. Tottenham
Sunderland vs. Leeds United
Bolton vs. Wigan Athletic
Cardiff City vs. Colchester United
Oxford/Tranmere Rovers vs. Swansea City
Huddersfield Town vs. Reading
Rotherham United vs. Bournemouth
Aston Villa vs. Blackpool
Blyth Spartans vs. Birmingham City
West Bromwich Albion vs. Gateshead
Aldershot/Rochdale vs. Nottingham Forest
Manchester City vs. Sheffield Wednesday

We've got Sheffield Wednesday in the cup for like the 5th time in 8 years. Sick of seeing them. Even worse is that we've only been to Hillsbrough once in that time.

It just gets boring. I enjoy the FA Cup 3rd Round Draw as I get excited about the possibility of going to grounds I've either never been, or haven't been to for years. By the time you get to the 5th and 6th rounds that possibility is diminished.

We've had Munich 3 times in 3 years in the Champions League, but the only thing I'm sick of is losing to them in the opening game like we always seem to.
