26 March 2020 vs. the Magical Magyarok
31 March 2020 vs. Iceland/Romania

Kiss me, Lady Toothless Luck! We play the playoff(s) at Vasil Levski, which was the ultimate unjustice having in mind how shyt we look in the eyes of the football puritans. But! BUT! We can only be a pleasant surprise and enchant those who have an eye for the hidden beauty of the game. We are in the hands of Elder Gosho, a simple man married to the luck (I hope).

Paco The Tiger

Strahil Popov -- Donkey no.1 -- Donkey no.2 -- Nedyalkov (Bozhikov)

Malinov -- Antov (G. Kostadinov) -- Toshko Nedelev (Kraev/Wanderson)

Stasi -- Kun (Issa/Mitko Iliev) -- Despodov

Would hardly happen, but why not?

Despodov will have an ankle operation and will miss practice for at least a month. So, he is definitely out for the NT games in March.

May be, it is now or never to call up Indiana Vassilev? He seems to be the same type of player. Would he agree to forego the possibility to play for his motherland Murica tho?

He used to be in the NT core until a couple of years ago, but once he became a fringe player in the Moscow Army Club he appears in the NT only occasionally.

He has been called by Uncle Gosho for the practice game with White Rasa next week but as the date is not in the UEFA calendar for friendlies I don't know if he would be let come by his team.

In any case, we are so short of any decent options, that he will likely be in the squad along with Puskas Akademia old boy Kamen Hadzhiev in March.

So two Trojan horses in the Magicals camp :)

little update on key player parts of the magicals possible squad

Ádám Nagy, back from injury but not off the bench yet at Bristol

Willi Orbán, not recovered from injury yet, questionable if he‘ll be there

DzsB7, changed from one Tatooine club to another, no idea how they‘re called, Al-something

Ádám Szalai, on and off the bench at Mainz

Nemanja Nikolics, finally back from the USA to Videoton, may be called up for this

Tamás Kádár, got banned to Dynamo Kiev‘s reserve team, but never mind, his latest NT performances sucked hard

Botond Baráth, not sure if they play at all in USA these days

Krisztián Vadócz, doubt he‘ll get a call, but is now our player at the biggest club, Peñarol Montevideo, may play as first magical ever in Libertadores :)

László Ginger Kleinheisler, regular at mighty Osijek

Dominik Szoboszlai, back from minor injury and regular at Salzburg

2 more interesting names are mentioned these days: Omri Altman and Igor Haratin, both have double citizenship because of magical ancestry and are eligible to play. question is if they root for Israel and Ukraine or for us. may depend if they get a call up from their country of birth first.

The T-Lions are playing a practice game on Wednesday. As the game is not in the official calendar for friendlies Uncle G called local league players + AM Milanov Georgy (NB1) and CB Stefan Velkov (Eredivisie). I guess it is a feasibility test for those, as well as for a couple of youth who are borderline NT material such as Turitsov, V. Popov, Kovachev...

Also, the return of Spas Delev

Some info, just in case this shit happens at all:

The likes of Chochev and Slavchev (long term injuries), as well as Despodov (recovering from knee intervention) will not make the March playoff. Kraev, one of the heroes of our Nations League campaign, thanks to which we even got a chance for the Euro, is not likely to be called by Uncle Gosh. On the other hand, he indicated he would call Bodurov, who currently plays in Tehran, which is no less but a disaster (we don't even have a shortage of CB's right now).

There might be a great surprise in attack, as Unc might call promising CF Tonislav Yordanov, who otherwise plays for our U21, as he is in form and scoring on a regular basis in his clubs lately.

No surprises as regards Ludo players who are expected to be in the squad, apart from may be not calling Svetlyo Dyakov. Thus, we would see GK Iliev and Stoyanov, DEF Terziev and Nedyalkov and the two naturalized Brazilians in the squad.
