Ok, the season has ended now, all major club leagues and competitions have ended, its time for INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL :shades:

So, who'll you support from the 7th on? Me and Arfy are Spanish fans and I'm sure most of you will be too since England ain't playing.
Hopefully Spain will live up to its potential and not choke miserably like always :hopeful:

Group C Rocks though :excited:

hmmm WC 2002...golden generation hmmm yeah ;)
6 years ago, bravo. Spain's lost 3 times in a row to Portugal and get played off the pitch like I said. It's 90 minutes of Spain's awful backline getting turned inside out, and that was with a Puyol on form. If Puyol plays in the Euros like he played all year, Spain are getting hammered left and right. Semi-finals and finals of the last two tournaments for a country with a population 5 and 6 times less than the other "giants." You were saying?

Greece, Russia, Spain, Sweden

Thats the group. They should get out of it easily.
I think one of Spains problems lies in the fact that they don't seem to create a great team spirit, but I might be wrong though.

Got my money on Germany.
Always a safe option, the Germans have the ability to win any tournament. Good call.

Personally, I'm biased so I say Portugal, but I do also believe in Italy and Germany.

portugal team have some talented players who can hammer any team .. they can create chances for themselves easily while spain style doesn`t prove that interesting show . i see they depend a lot to play horizontally and passes till it reach to the wingers or fullback who cross it to the box which are completely clear enough to any opponent .

i do believe more in italy , Germany or France as well to win this tournament . they`re more experienced and have the abilities to win this title than any other team in euro .

i predict those teams to win euro 08 :
in order ..
1. Italy
2. Germany
3. France

Well with England out, I'd just want our players to do well.. I want Spain to finally do something.. but history is the best predictor for the future..

I just hope the football is good.. and I hope whoever plays the best footie wins..

How many of our players are going anyway?
off the top of my head I'd count 4 for Spain: Reina, Xabi, Torres and I read Arbeloa is in..
2 for Holland: Babel & Kuyt

Anyone else??
