Rumours have that Genk is negotiations with Rajtoral from Ostrava as a replacement for Itzakhi who returned to Beitar. Site is not very trustworthy but neverteless any comments 'bout the player?
I hope these rumours are not true. Banik would be absolute idiots to sell Rajtoral now. He didn't have his best season last year, but he has loads of talent and with more time he'll will play for NT. His transfer should be worth at least 5 million, but Banik will not get close to this money right now, so they should wait. And once again we see the disturbing trend, one player goes to a crap league and then tries to bring along his friends (Pudil). Times are surely changing for the worse. It used to be that players like Koller who couldnt make it in big Czech teams would go to some Belgian club for more opportunities. Now it's the top players in the league that are doing this? Sorry, to say that, but I hope this Genk club gets relegated so we wont see more of these rumours.

Moving from a crap league to a crap league, I don't see the problem. The difference between the Czech league and the Belgian doesn't seem so big in my opinion.

It used to be that players like Koller who couldnt make it in big Czech teams would go to some Belgian club for more opportunities.
And thanks to that crappy Belgian league Koller became your NT's top striker for years. Who knew Koller in the Czech Republic before he made the move to Belgium ?

Or who knew Martin Kolar before he made the move to Belgium ? Talking about Kolar, what a pity Turaci literally kicked him out of the game. He was such a great prospect :(
Koller was playing for Sparta before his move, but was mainly used as a sub. 5 goals in 29 matches. And Belgian league circa 1996 is not the same league it is now...the quality has gotten much worse

Pospisil scored the 1:1 in a friendly against Fortuna Sittard :) Sint Truiden won 1:2 in the end.

Getting frustrated?
Daniel Zitka conceeded two goals in the CL qualifier against BATE. Anderlecht lost 1:2 at home. Jan Polak also played in that game.

Shocking result!
No so shocking, surprising yes, but as I said before players playing in Belgian and other mediocre leagues shouldn't be a part of NT. Polak should pack his bags and move to Siberia :howler:
And Anderlecht are out of the European competitions this season. They drew 2:2 in Belarus. Only bonus was that Polak scored the 2:2.

The Jupiler Pro League starts tomorrow ...

And I'm quite sure we will lose our first game

Congrats on the win Tom :) How did Vlcek and Polak do ? :)

Jupiler Pro League #1:
Cercle Brugge - RSC Anderlecht 0-3
0-1 Jelle Van Damme
0-2 Jonathan Legear
0-3 Thomas Chatelle (Pen)

The Czechs at Anderlecht:

Daniel Zitka: Didn't have any real work. Some shots from outside the penalty area, but that was quite all.

Jan Polak: Polak played as defensive midfielder yesterday, and was again one of the best Anderlecht players. Saved the team several times by running perfectly into the gaps his teammates left. Lead the team verbally to the win. A perfect example of a good captain in my opinion.

Stanislav Vlcek: He played better then against BATE & Standard, but is still quite far from his level of last year. He played as central striker yesterday; as we have to miss our other strikers due to injuries. Considering his less good form at the moment, he did 'better' as central striker then when playing as right winger last year.

Overall seen the team did decent keeping the last 3 games in mind. We're far from the level yet we are supposed to reach, but his win should be a huge mental boost. Next week we face AA Gent at home. Gent won their season opener today 5-0 and have very strong team. It promises to be a close and nasty (in the good sense of the word) game next week.

Jupiler Pro League #2:
RSC Anderlecht - AA Gent 2-2
1-0 Stanislav Vlcek
2-0 Guillaume Gillet
2-1 Zlatan Ljubijankic
2-2 Marko Suler

The Czechs at Anderlecht:

Daniel Zitka: Didn't have any real work, but was beaten twice. Honestly, it's a pity Proto has to sit on the bench for Zitka. Not that Proto is such a better goalkeeper, but at least his passing is great. Each time Zitka has to do something with his feet, the ball goes out of the pitch

Jan Polak: Polak was able to play in his normal role again, as Biglia was fit to play. He played decent, but a bit below his normal level. Maybe he gave a bit too much against England ? Because after 75 minutes he saw quite exhausted. Anyhow, even a bit below his normal level he is still the best player of Anderlecht ...

Stanislav Vlcek: He scored (well, he couldn't miss ... But he nearly did :howler:), but that's about all. He makes war, but isn't usefull as a central striker in a 4-3-3. He nearly holds the ball, he's too slow to be the lone central striker. Well, he was replaced at half time as he was injured. This also meant we played without a real striker in the second half. Promiseful winger Oleksandr Iakovenko had to play as central striker, and did quite ok knowing he didn't play at his natural position. He should have scored though ...

Vlcek should have been the first star for you :howler:
He was involved in both goals, 1st he scored and 2nd he forced goalkeeper to make a mistake that led to the open net goal. His technique is not great but he's got a very good read of the game and sense of the goal: seems to be in a right place at the right time.
His technique is not great
Understatement of the year :D

And technique is quite important for Anderlecht fans ;)

Jupiler Pro League #3:
RSC Anderlecht - KV Kortrijk 4-0
1-0 Dmitri Bulykin
2-0 Roland Juhasz
3-0 Dmitri Bulykin
4-0 Oleksandr Iakovenko

Anderlechts Best Players:

:star: :star: :star: Hernan Losada
:star: :star: Dmitri Bulykin
:star: Jonathan Legear

The Czechs at Anderlecht:

Daniel Zitka: Didn't have to do a single save

Jan Polak: Decent ... I saw him playing better already. But he needed to cover up for Losada, who played more central then on the wing. So Polak covered the left wing quite often.
