Saturday night, the biggest game in Italian football and one of the most heated and biggest game in the World will be held at the Delle Alpi in Torino. Juve hosts Milan in a clash of the Titans.

Last time we met at the Delle Alpi, we stream-rolled them convincingly 3-1.:devil: It could have been more, but we were nice on them. :)

This time around, Juve are more solid as last year. They come off a very controversial win on sunday against Bologna. Some say it was an undeserved win, but Juve are Juve. Even when you think they're dead and down, they somehow manage to scrap the result. A sign of the great teams.

Milan, after a shaky start of the season, are now slowly going crescendo and have reached a good form. Still yet to be in top form, which should hopefully be for the spring when it'll matter most. :hopefull::stuckup::devil:

Juve are showing signs of fatigue as they are not running as much as a month ago.

Milan come from a superb performance against a very difficult team to play against such as Fiorentina that they simply anihiliated in every aspect, not only on the score board. Also worth mentionning that Juve beat Fiorentina with all the difficulties in the world 1-0 not long ago.

Positive points for Milan:
Crespo is finally getting back into the deadly striker he was in his Parma and Lazio periods on his hot streaks. Pirlo is slowly back to his usual greatness. So is Kakà. Milan's defence has found a solidity and consistency that we were lacking in the beginning of the season. Oh and we have a certain Sheva!:devil: :proud:

Positive points for Juve:
Despite struggling a bit lately physically, they still manage to get the job done. A very cynical team, a scary machine. They're not a team, but rather a machine. Plus, Nedved is there to rescue the team when needed. A solid defence, a superb keeper who has been in most of the recent matches, Juve's best man on the pitch... Incidentally or does this have to do with the fatigue shown by the rest of the team? Oh and they have Del Piero!

So which team do you think is the best one? Which team willl you be cheering for? What do you believe will be the result?

FORZA MAGICO MILAN!!!:devil::proud: :star:

Cheers.;)

Maybe I'm wrong, but historically, isn't Inter-Juve (or viceversa) the real "clasico" of Italy? Can anyone tell me?

In any case, I don't doubt that Milan-Juve is the most interesting match nowadays in Italy.

Personally, I prefer Milan's proposal (not the one showed in the Camp Nou though). Capello and his style makes me sick, so I would prefer Milan to win in that sense. In any case, I don't really care much.

Bring me a sleeping pillow .... 0-0,1-0 are the only possible results. Plus the whole world does not care anymore about this fixture. Big Italian teams never attack when they face each other.

Juve - Inter is known as the Derby D'Italia as at one point in time when there were no Television sets and people used to rely on radios to receive broadcasts the two top clubs in Italy were Juve and Inter. As time passed on and the television was invented, Armstrong stepped on the moon, mainstream porn became popular, Hulk Hogan and his Hulkamaniacs ruled all and computers became popular ... things in football also changed.

Competition and stats wise Milan-Juve is the biggest game in Italy. They are the two biggest clubs in Italy like Barcelona-Real are for Spain.

Juve-Inter is big but Milan-Juve (San Siro encounter) is the cream of the crop and the Milan Derby is special due to historic rivalry.

Encounters in Serie A that involve the Seven Sisters (Milan, Juve, Inter, Roma, Lazio, Parma and Fiorentina) have been big. And the latter four are struggling financially but the history is maintained and the sporting rivalries and traditions maintained. When the latter four are stable again, Serie A will be fearsome and even more tougher. For now the mantle lies in the hands in the top three in Italy that have been mentioned in the list.

The Milan-Juve (San Siro) encounter which will be the fifth last game of the season next year (April) for each side is expected to pull around 1 billion in audience worldwide as it could be a potential decider of the league. :shades:

In other words Koeman4, YES Inter vs Juve is the derby of Italy.

You can argue who is the bigger club or whatever, and make a good case, but historically the Inter Juve fixture has this title.

Perhaps you guys should make your OWN title! :D

Not he isn't, not even close.

Payman, as always your biased outlook, shows in every aspect of your posts;)

Kaka has looked better in recent games, although he shoots too much for my liking, sometimes I think that he is better off passing the ball to the great Sheva. Crespo just fills space.

The so called Derby D'Itaila was a name given to the Inter-Juve match by...an Interista journalist....

Raul,
Sure Fiorentina were never in the game but did it ever occur to you that it might have to do with the team they were facing? Think about it...:)

a) I did see the match and Milan were all over them. I don't think many teams could have been able to do anything, let alone stop yesterday's Milan!

b) Crespo may not be yet at the same level of his time at Parma and Lazio, however, he is slowly getting there. You can't deny that. Scored 1.5 goal yesterday and was at the origin of the first one plus an assist for Sheva. Not bad for someone just filling space...;) As long as he fills space like that, he'd be a starter in Milan and most other teams, including Barça!

I might be biased (who isn't? ) but biasm is better than malafede however the hell that word translates into english...

:howler: Well, you are right, not that many teams are as bad as Fiorentina was yesterday;)

Slowly? You give him too much credit ;)

On the contrary, mi amigo, watched it with my brother, a huge milanista and we were both rooting for Milan. Don't need to watch that again. :sleepy:

I don't know about that, I'd say 2-2 but normally I'd agree with you though...
It just seems like the sort of match that'll go 0-0 to me. Usually I'm wrong with these things anyway :pp

When big sides in Italy face each other, they are almost always great games. Unlike big games in England which are usually a let down. For example games like Inter-Juve and Roma-Inter were 2 of the most entetaining games this season.
