The bayern players that have to go

789 Views 34 Replies 15 Participants Last post by  Klinsmann
I just wanted to voice my disgust at such a pathetic display by bayern. Apart from a few players, most played with absolutely no heart. They had no game plan. I am especially angry at hasan salihamidzic. His big mouth was the reason why real madrid was so motivated tonight. And he has NO skill whatsoever. I think it's time for some clean up at the bayern camp. The players that have to go are:
kuffour, effenberg, hasan sal, zickler, jancker.
If bayern wants a world class team, they have to get rid of these losers (except for effenberg who should leave because of his age). Sorry for being harsch but I am really disgusted by some of these players. Congratulations to real, u were the better team.

True, Brazzo was a disgrace tonight.
But saying that he has no skill whatsoever is probably one of the dumbest things I´ve ever read.
Selling him would harm Bayern a lot, you won´t find such a versatile player anytime soon (especially not in Bundesliga at the moment).

Hoeneß already said that some players will have to leave if Bayern has to play UEFA-Cup next year.
But Salihamdzic won´t be one of them, I can almost guarantee you.

About "no game plan", I agree. There is no point in hoping for a 0-0 and defending for 90 minutes at the Bernabeu.
Sell Brazzo? Come on, if you have to fire every player just for one bad game, then you might as well fire everyone else. You can't expect Bayern to win every game out there. We are just human and everyone is mistake prone.

Effenberg, Sergio, Sforza will leave and Linke, Nico Kovac, Zickler should all go next season.
I did not say that hasan had to go because of this game. Personally, I have never liked him and I have always wondered why Bayern bought him. Offensively, he is a non factor. He has no dribbling skillls and his shots on goal are always pathetic. And for reasons that I totally ignore, he is arrogant. His big mouth in the run up to this game was the main reason we lost the game even before kick off.
sali had a bad match..that's all...!!!
He just had a bad game, that's all!
Hmmmm I wonder if you were watching Bayern's game since the beg. of the season...Brazzo's absence caused Bayern to slip up for so long. Only when he came back we became more lively. Scholl, Brazzo and Kahn are the most important this season.
Too bad the "delete thread" option doesn't work these days... :rollani:

That seperates Bayern fans from gloryhunters, so just crawl back and search yourself a new team .

haha oops I didn't read everybodies post before making my own
tigerheart,
Oh please give me a break. I have been a bayern fan for 10 years now. So much for a glory hunter then. I have the right to criticize the team, just like any other fan, which is good because it's only through criticism that we can move forward. Any honest fan should acknowledge that the team has produced a below par performance this season and that some changes need to be urgently made.
Brazzo is a key player no doubt about that. He doesnt score that much but he does much of the dirty work he isnt injured that often and he is a very positive charakter. Whether is on the bench for some games or not he is always a cool guy.

Ok, back tt the topic of "to go or not to go"

To go at all costs:D:

N. Kovac - Great games are decided by great players and not by the Nico's (Pablos/Ciriacos/Thorstens) of the football world.:D

Thiam - Simply not a winner type of player. He's the loser of the year. Earlier ths steason he made many games with many mistakes. We have enough mediocre midfileders and like N. Kovac he isnt really needed.

Zickler - No comment needed.

Sforza - I have to accept that he will never make it. He still has some class but he is no real bench player. He cant turn things around and bring some fire to the team. With Ballack and Deisler joining us next year theis is no place for him left.

Effenberg - Too old now...makes the game slow and predictable. Its unbelievable how much time he needs by now to get the ball under control. His footwork looks ten times slower than 2 years ago. He had a great time with us but I will not miss him.:D

Leaving the club has to be considered:

Tarnat - He's a good guy but he's getting older and not faster

Linke - Maybe one year left in him but his style of playing is a little bit ancient by now. In many cases he is operating with long balls.

R. Kovac:D - I thought it was a good idea that we bought him but now he's the player I'm most nervous when he has the ball. So far that guy was Kuffour when he tried to do some flashy footwork but in contrast to Sammy who is a real warrior I have the feeling that Robert gets more and more nervous when he makes mistakes. He doesnt have the same self confidence he had when playing for the chemical gang.

Jancker - With Pizarro and Santa Cruz being young and Elber still in good form its getting more and more difficult for the tower of power. On the other hand he can be a very important player even if its only with pissing off the primadonnas of our rivals. Jancker is great in getting in the head of other players with his trashtalk, brilliant holding followed by diving and occasional "welcome to the world of men" fouls.:D Added to that he has a nice touch and underrated skills. He can still be some sort of secret weapon but do we need him really?

Jens Jeremies - To be honest I was never very impressed with him. We havent enough skilled midfielders and thats what makes it difficult to create chances. Thats why we have to operate with long balls and lose ball possesion. I really hate that. I think Hargreaves can do the running. Like Jeremies he can fight but his passing and dribbling is much better. And since his injuries Jeremies seems to be less mobile and quick.

Yesterday's game against Real was a typical example of what the problem with our midfield is. We get under pressure, we cant do any sort of dribbling or precise passing...we lose the ball early or have to go for a long ball. Even in the Bundesliga we have that problem. I cant stand that any longer. We need midfielders with better footwork. Real reached our box with pretty easy passing football but only because their midfileders can control the ball at all times.

We have to partly blaim our management for that. Pizarro is the only player who added more quality to our team. R. Kovac was needed when Anderson left but N. Kovac and Thiam are nothing special. At best they can be as good as Jeremies or Fink. In contrat to other teams in the BuLi and CL we didnt make much progress and many of our key players are getting older and get injured more often. We should have bought at least one quality midfielder last year. I'm thinking of guys like Guardiola or Davids. I'm pretty sure whe did have enough money to get one of them. Us and ManU are the "real" rich teams who earn their millions. Why spending money for guys like N. Kovac or Thiam? Didnt Hoeness at the end of last season say that he wanted to buy at least one superstar? Leverkusen have more experience now, Dortmund made progress by bying quality.....same with Real and ManU.

Well, we all know that we are still;) the best club in the world but if we want to stay on top in the BuLi and CL we cant go for the Thiam/N.Kovac type of players like we did last summer. Ya know...nor risk no fun.;) At the moment I dont have much fun now that the dark side of the (football) force has kicked our asses.

You have every right in the world to be angry, but it was nothing more than a ridiculous post you made above (sorry to tell you, and I'm not telling you that as the FM here but as a Bayern fan).

RC broke Salihamidzic's nose, what did you expect him to do after that? And please, he is one of the three best Bayern players, so firing him for one bad game after he came back from the worst possible football injury is really not the solution...

And not that Kuffour is our best defender, should be the logical move to fire him :D... And yes, I also agree that Zickler and Jancker didn't create any chance yesterday against Real ;), so firing them aswell could help  :D.

Maybe today you will see it different from yesterday and have calmed down, but there is really no need to fire a player or even Hitzfeld (somebody dared to want that  ), you cant win the CL and championship EVERY YEAR.

That would get me in trouble. Normally, I would have supported Bayern but Barca had to suffer so much for the last years...really difficult. Anyway, its now up to Barca to stop the rulers of darkness. Someone has to end their birthday celebrations in great style. Depor did in the spanish cup now its time to kick tem out of CL.
I think robert kovac and owen had an outstanding match...out of the 14 or 15 corners real had alteast 6-7 of them were conceded by kovac running to the near post and getting in front of or blocking raul or morientes...

We fought...when push came to shove we didnt hide..i remeber last yaer when we were 2-1 up...madrid gave up ..they're heads were down..we had sforza of all people running the show in the last 5 mins...,we didn't go out like that ,despite all the taunts and jeers ,brickbats and broken noses we went out head's held high ....

IM PROUD OF BAYERN...WE ALL ARE....!!!
Hasan is the most phucking complete right sided player in the whole world. So, the stuff you said about his game is pretty absurd. Probably, you've mistaken him with Sagnol when you're talking about his dribbling abbilities. ;)

But, man, Hasan really confused the crap out of me with his finger every single time he screwd up. Wiesenberger's grandaprents could've put up a better display whatsoever. :D

Fink rocks. And he can decide a season, let a lone a game. :D

Robert Kovac must be a starter next season. If we get any new defender, which I doubt will be a top one either, it'll take months to get used to us. Robert has proved he can be a rock. We better trust him.
BTW, is it me or does he look like Andersson with short harir?

Are you sure we had enough money to spend for Davids? Jeremies is twice better whatsoever. ;)
I don't know why people automatically assume that I think some players need to be fired because of the defeat. As I said before, I have been a bayern fan for 10 years, so I certainly don't mind losing. After all, we can't win every time. But I like skillful players who play with passion and are yet very modest. Kahn and hargreaves are two of them. Especially the latter one. It's always a pleasure to watch him. Yesterday, him and elber were the only bayern players working hard on the pitch.
On the other hand, there are some players who are simply not good, yet very arrogant. Before the quarter final draws were made, hasan sal was quoted to have said: "we don't care who we meet, we will wipe them all out". And everyone is also aware of the inflammatory comments he made after the first leg vs real. Well, his comments have come back to haunt us. Also, As I said before, I have watch him play a lot and I have yet to see him dispaly any talent. It's my opinion but let's agree to disagree, rather than pilloring me because I don't think he's a good player.
But once again, I am not mad at all because of the defeat. In fact, I wanted us to be defeated so that we could come back next year hungry for silverware. Had we won the CL again while finishing miserably in the league, the players might have repeated the same nonchalent attitude next year. But with no silverware this year and our champions league participation in jepardy, the pride of the players have been hurt and they will come back next year to reclaim the position that is rightly theirs.

I agree with some of the comments made on our summer purchases. Although I don't want bayern to go on the same sepnding spree as italian or spanish teams, I still think that the board was being EXTREMELY stingy last summer when they decided to go after some low class players such as nico or pablo thiam, especially given the fact that we are the richest club in the world. Don't get me wrong, I am not asking for them to buy superstars. In fact I would hate it. The reason why I have always been a bayern supporter is exactly that, they don't go crazy like real madrid, bringing together a bunch of players with too much ego. That said, I do not advocate however buying the likes of pablo thiam.
Well, maybe there was a clause on Robert's contract to have his brother with him at all costs :D Thus, Bayern were nice enough to find Robert the best roomate and that was his BROTHER Niko. We are so nice to splash 30M DM to reunite the lovely family in Munich, aren't we? :D

Back to reality now...

Sell Jeremies? No way man. Jeremies is essential to Bayern and his efforts last season rewarded Bayern with the double. He fights till he is paralized and gives his all for the club. He is loyal and will lead Bayern's midfield next year when Effe departs. I predicted long ago that He will one day end up being Bayern and Germany's captain and I still think he will. His performance this season should not be judged. What do you expect from a player who has just come back from a career threatening injury? I have had his kind of injury and I know how hard it is to regain your form after recovering. He is better than Davids and much calmer. Or do you want to buy a player who gets sent off every two games or so? Jeremies made a fool out of Keane last season and when in his best form is Bayern's great midfield wall. Next season Jeremies will be an essential capstone and will retire in Bayern just like Scholl and Kahn.

Last night, Robert kovac had one of his best Bayern displays. He cleared and saved Bayern on many occasions and had the misfortune of partnering with the lousy and unrealiable Linke. Why didn't Kuffour play in center and Sagnol on the right instead? Linke had cost us dearly in the last two matches (Bremen and Real)
But overall, I agree with you about Robert Kovac. I never thought the guy will add any value to Bayern but plug the defensive hole left by Anderson. What we lack is a defender with a vision and some skill. All linke and Kovac did last night was clear the ball to nowhere!!

Kuffour? Kuffour is a defender with a lot of heart and the best around the Bayern camp. Do not think for a second about him being put on the transfer list. There is a lack of defenders in the market and Kuffour is one of those who are saught by the best n europe.

On another note, Brazzo is one of our best players and yesterday he was under a lot of pressure. Whatever he said, was abused by the media and over blown to add spice to the enounter. Just for your information "Bayern Fan", Hasan is known to be a very humble figure in German football and Bayern. Many have claimed that in the past few years and it is wrong to accuse him of that when you do not know him personally :) There is also a difference between being confident and and being arrogant. Hasan is just a confident lad and I think he examplifies the word. Just like Jeremies, he just came back from a long and severe injury and I think it is harsh to expect a lot from him instantly. We all agree he had a bad game last night, but then what do you expect when you are playing with a painful broken nose for the rest of the game?

I agree with Ed that Robert and Owen were the better players on the field that night. The sad part of last night was that we only needed one goal and we did not try hard enough to get it.
Nevertheless, I am proud of Bayern and will always be proud to be a Bayern fan. Whether we win anything or win nothing, I will always stand behind the team.

Bayern Fan, it is ok to critisize but let us not go over board and fire players just because of one bad game. I think if we had won, some of you would have been singing words or praise for those you claimed to be the culprits. We go out with heads high, just like ed said :) :proud:
