Jan Koller isn't the only one quitting international football. Our vacuumcleaner on the midfield will retire from the NT also. We thank you Tomas for your services in 60 (?) NT games :proud::thumbsup:

Official: Galasek Signs For Borussia Mönchengladbach
Tomas Galasek is back in the Bundesliga after less than six months away...

Tomas Galasek has officially signed for Borussia Mönchengladbach in a move which he described as one of the toughest decisions of his life.

The 35-year-old Czech midfielder had left 1. FC Nuernberg in the summer to play out the final years of his career for Banik Ostrava but couldn't resist the lure of reuniting with his former coach at 1.FCN Hans Meyer, but most of all his family.

"It was one of my most difficult decisions, not only in football," Galasek explained on the official Banik website.

"Offers came in and I had an opportunity to play football at the top level and to be close to my wife and two children. It was a decision purely of the heart and I am sorry for the situation this leaves Banik in."
