So very very hard. I don't think we can accurately pick the XI. Who had heard of Owen in 1994? (even though we didn't make that one). There should be some quality players coming through that we don't know about yet. Maybe players like Wayne Rooney and Cherno Samba will be Michael Owens in 4 years. Who knows. Anyway i'll pick players based on whats available at the moment and how i think they will develop.

I think Defoe and Owen are too similar to play together. If Terry and Woodgate improve their attitudes they'll have a chance. Robinson, Bridge, Riggott, Hargreaves, Dunn, Prutton, Pennant (if he ever gets a chance at Arsenal), Carrick, Jenas and Ameobi should all be there as well.

Also look out for Ferdinand's younger brother who is a CB at West Ham. He is supposed to be better than Rio was at his age (16 i think).
