Hi guys, I wonder if you can help me, I am trying to find out a little bit of info about the Swiss sides Aarau and Neuchatel Xamax, which town do they play home games and the name of their stadium. Thank you in anticipation. Tom.

Aarau plays its home games in.................. Aarau, which is the main city of the region where people wear white socks and drive too fast. The stadium is called "Brügglifeld".

Neuchatel Xamax usually plays in.......... Neuchatel/Neuenburg/"Newcastle", but as they're building a new stadium there (used to be called "La Maladière") they now play in La Chaux-de-Fonds (stadium called "la Charrière).

Hope this helps.

No fun - absolutely serious!

We Thunfans even have a special song for them - translated to English it would be like

They're wearing white socks
and living along the motorway
they're knowing every NPS (nuclear power station)
the people from the carrot's land....

To explain it a bit:
- people in their region all wear white socks
- the main east-west Swiss motorway winds through their region
- all but one Swiss nuclear power station are in their region!
- their region is the so called carrot's land - the carrot pie is a regional delicacy (if you love it only)

Their fans love it when we sing this... :D :D :D

Cheers

Once again, Mr. Ender ist just sooooo right!

Furthermore, people from this region are Zurich wannabes, which does not speak in their favour but annoys the real guys from this region when the White Sox pollute "their" city on party weekends - which obviously is a good thing. :eekani:

Now their president fired 2 of the (very) few rather good players (one of them only performs when playing against former club Basel) to protect their desperate and unsuccessful coach who motivated the sometimes lazy Basel players by congratulating Thun for their title - about 8 games in advance with both Basel and Thun having the same amount of points. Thanks Andy, we appreciate that sort of unintented help. ;) :ass:

Hey calm down. Andy's a good chap, a wanker, but still a good chap. He was the third of several coaches leading us to glory

Btw his statement was overly ridiculous but STILL it was great - he will certainly repeat it after May 28th :D

Cheers

I don't think you'll have played all your games by June, not to speak of May. :howler:

Having to admit a guy like Egli deserves some credit for one's club's success is already as terrible as having to respect Gross to a certain degree. ;)
