Sunderland is set to sign Czech international midfielder Radek Bejbl for 2 million pounds ($3 million).

Sunderland manager Peter Reid is talking to the player after Atletico Madrid put him up for sale following its relegation from the Spanish Primera Liga.

This player has been linked with Juve for over three months. He is more likely to join Juve because they are going to pay him more. He is a free player so the contract is between him and the club. Apperently a week ago the deal was almost done.

Sunderland bought already Bejbl from Atletico for $3 million according to the newspapers here in Belgium. He will not join Juve.
