Oops, I was wrong. Gladly so. ;)

Grazie Hellas.

Pazzo you beautiful human being.

Now watch us drop points tomorrow - particularly due to shitty refereeing. Refs won't allow us to catch juve.

Although technically if we draw we close the gap to -2, which is not terrible, but ideally we close the gap to 0 as we have Lazio afterwards...

anyhow if the players are not even MORE motivated to win now it's hopeless. They have to be.

Forza Inter.
My New Year's resolution is communicate amicably with you Ahmed, because the forum is better when you are here.

But I really don't understand why the ref and VAR would team award that penalty for Verona last night if the league was rigged in Juve's favour? It was pretty damn innocuous.

That is to say nothing of Lautaro's trip against Atalanta or De Ligt's handball in the San Siro. Obviously if the league was rigged against Inter (which it isn't) the refs would have penalsed Lautaro against Atalanta and not awarded handballs against De Ligt (against us and the 3 / 4 others he has been penalised for already this season) or Bonucci's yesterday.

Utterly bizarre logic.

Conte and the players are the ones at fault for playing terribly since the New Year.

Conte's total inflexibility (he should occasionally change something, anything, formation-wise), budget constraints, underperforming players, dud signings (Biraghi and Lazaro) and Juve's far superior squad depth are likely the things that won't allow us to catch Juve in the long-run.

But who knows. They looked awful against Napoli, Fiorentina and Verona and dropped 6 points out of 9. Maybe we can finally get a result against them in Turin this season.

Well obviously the refs can't/won't favour juve every game as it would be too blatant, but they were helped against Bologna (pjanic foul right before second juve goal), Sassuolo (unawarded de ligt pen v Duncan), Genoa (non sending off rugani and CR dive), Atalanta (Cuadrado handball and Emre Can handball too) and Samp (2 penalties v Demiral) this season. In a close title race, 4-5 games are a lot. No team gets calls in 38 matches.

The header of Kumbulla was going in last night and Bonucci's left arm deflected it into the bar. Clear penalty.

Inter were helped in how many games? The Atalanta game, you mean when Lautaro was fouled first? But still, that is 1 game which we took 1 point in. And the ref had no problem awarding a late pen against us..

If you look at the decisions that went against us, they outweigh those that went for us

To name a few:

Lecce away, horror tackle on Barella by Donati - clear red not awarded to Lecce in first half. 2 points dropped.

Cagliari at home, Young gets fouled when Inter were 1-0 up. No penalty given. juve get a carbon copy penalty v Fiorentina a week later! 2 points dropped.

Parma at home, 2 penalties denied to Lautaro and Biraghi. A match which would have ended 4-2 ends 2-2. 2 points dropped

Verona at home, Verona awarded a laughable penalty after a dive. We won so it didn't matter

Napoli away, 2 penalties denied for Lukaku and Lautaro. We won so it didn't matter

The moronic juventus fans online keep posting that pic of Lautaro grabbing Toloi as if that one incident gave us our entire point tally, while ignoring all the calls that went for juve and against us.

Conte and our players are also culpable for dropped points. I am not totally absolving them of blame - But if refs made more correct calls in our games (and juve's), we'd then afford some mistakes and dropped points along the way as everyone makes mistakes and drops points. Except for Liverpool it seems.

There's talk of Eriksen playing off Lukaku and a midfield 3 of Vecino, Barella and Brozovic. I am ok with that notion, could give us upper hand in midfield and then a fresh Alexis in second half if things aren't going well

That CR reminded of another great goal this weekend, from a player that has a little bit of Ronaldo: Richarlison, who I was saying three years ago when he was at Watford would have been the perfect Milan signing.

Eriksen starting on the bench. Nice to have some fire-power on the bench I guess.

I agree that most of those decisions were bad

IMO if Lautaro or Lukaku gets snapped in half as they're about the score in the penalty area in Turin in a couple of weeks, then we can talk about a conspiracy. Until then. for me, now.

Bizarre pass by Skriniar there. Thankfully Milan wasted the opportunity.

Typical Jan/Feb Inter performance so far.

No tempo, no determination.

Should be at least 1-0 down

Really poor start to the game. The bad form continues. The team better snap out of it.

Looks like set-pieces will be our main goal threat since the midfield looks hopeless
