Both good signings for me. Johnson is the more proven, although Butterfield actually created the most chances in the championship last season. With Thorne as the DM that midfield 3 should have perfect balance to it, and allow whatever combination of front 3 to flourish.
Never expected all that money being spent. Thought we would push the Butterfield deal through, but to get Johnson ad well shows there is serious desire from Mel Morris to push this club forward.
Both different types of players adding something that was missing to the midfield. Over paid a bit, but it is a good signed that they've looked at the type of players we are missing and signed that type of player. Rather thn just buying more if the same.
