It would be nice to see Earnie in MLS, although, I think he may be in for a surprise by the competition for places and for starting roles, ala Matheaus. If he coming only to play golf and sunbath, then he is in for a surprise.

Earnie doesn't strike me as a spoiled European star type. Plus, he has a lot of contact with MLS players via the U.S. national team so I'm sure he has an idea of what the league is like.

Personally, I'd be thrilled to have him on DC United. C'mon Earnie, there are lots of golf courses in our area!
