I remember when my dad told me about the teams from back then, with all the greats and I only know the ones playin today (well from 98-now)

if you could build an all star team, with the greatest steaua players from all time (foreign/romanian), what would it be?

and if its possible, could you tell me about their abilities? I'm really interested in that...

so what would be the all star steaua team?

also if you wanna add dinamo, rapid bucuresti or another romanian team, you're all welcome

my dad is a dinamo fan and im more into steaua so its all good ;)

I´d like to know what´s right on the Camataru´s legend about the Golden Boot. I´ve read that he scored almost 20 goals in the last 6 games! just to get the award, and with the Securitate behind him to "convince" the rival teams.

Can someone give some light in this dark chapter? ;)

My dad was telling me that he saw Dudu Georgescu live (vs Farul, in 1976/77 when he scored a record 47 goals) and that the Farul players were obviously giving away goals.

I would guess that this is the same case with Camataru (44 goals in 1986/87) and Mateut (1988/89, 43 goals). They were all Dinamo players and no one came close in Romanian of reaching those same amounts, the government/"securitate" influence is why so many people hate Dinamo and to a lesser extent Steaua.

Duckadam, Belodedici and Lacatus must be in that team.

Other than Ghioane the top five are all from Divizia A. That's the first time that happens since 1989. It's a sign that Divizia A is improving. But it's true that injuries to Mutu, Chivu, Pancu also had something to do with it.
