This question has been asked a lot in spanish Valencia forums, obvoiusly Valencia fans has lost confidence in Joaquin, and are relishing the prospect of a new right winger, and most of them are confidence Pablo can end Joaquin career in Valencia..to me Joaquin is a player with a lot a skill, he crosses the ball well, he has speed, but he can't finish for shit, and he is no where near his form, but we have been saying that since two years, since he came to the Valencia!! till when are we gonna wait or should we give the ball to Pablo now?? Pablo or Joaquin??

para me PABLO!!!

You have been saying this for two years cause you want to say this.

Joaquin wasn't given any sort of confidence since he was in a dip in form when he first joined.

What was everyone smoking last April? or last September?

Joaquin is world class when he wants to be, and he can't unless you give him a proper surrounding and teammates who can help him (fat Miguel is not helping for shit) on the pitch.
Pablo is not world class, he might be but he's sure as hell not world class.

Keep both, get rid of Arizmendi.

Unless someone offers us 20m euros for Joaquin, he's staying. And if someone does that we should sign a replacement, and still get rid of Arizmendi.

Seriously what are the club doing? Maduro is here, he knows best.

i agree totally. all the coach has to do is ask maduro, he knows the right wing position inside out, and if he does decide Joaquin isnt good enough then hes sure to know of some world class players to sign.

Basically what he said, remember Malki Joaquin has done well for us, he's not been a total flop for us, he was for me our best player in the end part of the 2007 season and drove us forward.

Pablo is great to have in the squad but not for starter.
To be fairly, Pablo should try and win his position . Joaquin was a lot during the past 2 years when there was a proper coach and RB, only to be fcuked up by Koeman. But he fought hard when he first got here and so I think Pablo should do the same. The team benefits most from this. Whoever wins, we get a superb Right Winger. And we have Silva to back that position up. (I know, DV.)
Joaquín, to begin with. To be fair to him, he was very good at the start of the season when Koeman came that's when thinks went bad for him, so i'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Pablo has come after a good spell at a smaller club, Getafe, there are many players that have successful loan spells and do shit when go back to the "real" thing. Joaquín showed promise towards the end of the season, so he should start. But, this is a great thing, two good players fighting for a spot. Competition is always welcome
we need them both, give Joaq fair chance under good coach at Valencia
if Unai decides to play with 4-3-3
i dont have any confidence on joaquin

I love this forum probably by far the funniest on this site.

WHAAAAT?! maduro will be able to decide in a flick of his . . . rod
Maduro is God. He'll make the right decision:hopeful:
Absolutely true, i'm no longer a Valencia fan for doubting him and deservedly so.

As for your teams dilema with Joaquin and Pablo, I think Koeman's favorite player gets an automatic starting spot and Getafe boy will have to fight to displace him. But he could easily do it if we play 4-3-3 then Joaquin will demand to be transfered back to Betis by December.
If we're planning to play 4-3-3 we better sell Joaquin now, we can still make 18m euros for him or so...
I think it's best if we play 4-4-2 as all of Silva, Joaquin and Pablo have no problem playing that right midfield spot while there will be big concerns with some of them over the 4-3-3, especially with Silva playing out of position again and Joaquin looking like an Arizmendi in the forward position.

Plus we need wingers if we're going to sign someone like Milito, even though he also does very well on the ground.
On Foroche in a same thread, Joaquin got 80 votes and Pablo 52, Valencia fans have spoken. :D
just wonderin is pablo gonna have an official presentation?
Doubt it, seeing as he's been our player before.
