SPL: Hearts @Tynecastle

Hearts have had a crap season but amazingly they are now closing in on the top 6. Apart from the Old Firm the other sides above them are now catchable and Hearts are hitting some form. It seems strange then that just as they start to get some form they decide to sell arguably their best forward to Viking. It's something Hearts seem to do under the Ramanov regime.

Rangers will have to pick their game up and have to be on their top form for this one. Usually a point from Tynecastle would be good but taking all 3 will be extremely difficult. They pumped us 4:2 there earlier in the season and that had as much to do with us being mediocre as them being good. I expect Walter to go back to 4-5-1 again but hopefully he will not repeat his mistake of putting Faye in midfield again.

I fully expect the green and grey to take all 3 points with ease agaisnt a Caley side who are poor on the road. They will see this as an opportunity to close the gap if Hearts can do them a favout. With difficult games to follow I feel we need to get off to a winning start here. If Heats play the way they can then even at our best we'll find it hard. Let's hope they don't or at least our guys turn up this time.

2-1 Hearts.
Amdy Faye won't be playing this time, which is a boost. We can't afford to be resting anyone for this and surely Walter knows he has to go with his strongest side available (whatever that is). We weren't even mediocre in the last match, chivo. We were absolute sh!te and made Hearts look good. We have to be confident of getting the 3 points.

And it's not as if Super Caley have never beaten the cheats before
We'll not lose to ICT. If in the unlikliest of events we do then the leagues over even with 2 Old Firm matches left at Celtic Park.

But we wont and if we are to claw back points before we face each other at the end of the month then this looks like the only fixture I would expect your lot to drop points in. Most other matches in the SPL in March are at Snake Mountain.

March MAY (no pun intended) decide the destiny of this years title with us playing so many games away and if we can go through that month unscaved and you drop points then whichever of us comes into April with less bruises, will be in my opinion the team who will win the league.

Iffy prediction to make but its too good to be true that the remaining old firm fixtures will be the deciding factor in this years title, especially when you consider the Celtic Park match being postponed twice.

Velicka missing is a plus for us. What the hell are FIFA playing at over Cousin? They should just tell us it's not happening. I'd be happy to keep him for the rest of the season and we'd get the money for him in the summer anyway. I'd probably play Cousin and Darcheville tomorrow, but it's highly unlikely.

I heard Kevin Thomson was playing a bounce match today. I don't think he'll find it easy to get back into the team now that we have Steven Davis. He's looked pretty good in general.
That is a big bonus and I really cannot understand what Hearts are playing at. He's scored against both the old firm this season and always looks a threat. I'm very surprised noone else in the SPL coughed up cash for him- unless he wanted out of Scotland. I think outside of the Old Firm he was the best striker in the league.

I'm glad he's not playing tomorrow. Nade gave us problems last time but hopefully we can get on top of that tomorrow. My main concern is Driver on the wing. If he gets the beating of whoever we have at full back then we could be in trouble.
Very crucial game as i feel it will tell us whether the players have the bottle for winning the league or not. Frankly if we lose then i dont see us winning it despite still being in front.

I agree to some extent. From our point of view definitely that is the case but I'm not so sure about Celtic's bottle. I'm not saying they don't have it but this group of players, like Rangers, have never been involved in a title fight. The stronger mentally will come out on top possibly but I still think regardless of what happens elsewhere the old firm games will have the biggest say on who lifts the title.

Tonight though is the start of a difficult set of fixtures so we can't really afford to start off with a bad performance and result.
Apparently Hearts are missing most if not all their attacking options. This is the first game in ages I've been able to catch live.

I can't wait for the game and hope we win and I'd take a scrappy 1-0 right now as this will be a massive 3 points if we win.

Is that a prediction. I've been waiting with my bag of pennies all day. ;)

I think Driver is the main threat. If we can contain him then we should do fine. Mind you as Champions elect, and not to forget Vice Champions :D , we should be dictating the game even at Tynecastle. Hopefully our midfield can take the game by the scruff of the neck this time around.
And still we keep going and going :eekani: JCD with a brace, and it's 2-0 at half time.
3-0 with substitute Nachito Novo (on for JCD at half time) scoring.

The bears are in great voice too.

"The League Flag's Coming Home" etc :) Great stuff
"You're not very good"

Thought filth like you would be proud of such crap.

Here is me thinking that the fans over here didnt condone such songs being sung.
Nothing illegal about any of those songs. You being offended does not equal "against the law".

By the way that's actually a personal insult, you wouldn't want to go breaking the rules would you?
Dont talk p*sh, Illegal? Nothing we say, do or condone on here is illegal but we have rules and we certainly dont welcome scum like you polluting even this side of the forum and dragging the good posters name through the mud.
The rules aren't: "We are not allowed to say anything m10 doesn't like to hear"
I think you'll find that it is no secret in the point you are trying to put across with your last 2 avatars.

Now that the rest of the FMs and Admin know about it you have in your defence found a very cute way of testing everyones patience.

Even your own fellow posters dont condone what you are trying to do so save everyone a lot of time posting about this and just remove it and keep it sensible eh?
There you go, I've removed the naughty bit from this thread to keep you happy
