La seleccion is back. Our next world cup qualifier is against Estonia on the 11th of this month and Del Bosque has just released his list for the game. There was talk that Negredo and Mata will earn their first call ups but for some reason, neither of them got called up which is a shame because both are awesome players really. De la Red is also not called up despite him actually breaking into Real Madrid's starting 11, dont understand that one either. Other than that, its pretty much the same list with the only new face of Iraola who gets in and out of the team.

Full list:

GK:
Casillas (Real Madrid)
Reina (Liverpool)

DEFENSE:
Puyol (Barcelona)
Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)
Marchena (Valencia)
Albiol (Valencia)
Juanito (Real Betis)
Capdevila (Villareal)
F. Navarro (Sevilla)
Iraola (Athletic Bilbao)
Arbeloa (Liverpool)

MIDFIELD:
Xavi (Barcelona)
Iniesta (Barcelona)
Alonso (Liverpool)
Cazorla (Villareal)
Senna (Villareal)
Fabregas (Arsenal)
Capel (Sevilla)

FORWARDS:
Villa (Valencia)
Torres (Liverpool)
Guiza (Fenerbache)

A por ellos :fero:

we lost to Bosnia 0-7 in our previous match, our defense has been a joke for the last couple of years and we are missing our starting goalkeeper and a centre back

We just dropped to 137. place in that FIFA table. Although that wont change how we will play on saturday, it still is a pretty good fact to go by on how weak we really are.

So, maxi, we wont go down because simply there is no way to go anymore. We are basically as low as one can currently be in European football.

Injuries galore, Sergio Ramos is injured and is more than likely out for the game against Estonia at least.

Convincing 3-0 win, our midfield is just an absolute joy to watch and its always nice to have your two centerbacks score :howler:

On to Belgium now.

Well, one centreback was marked by a midget and the other wasn't marked at all, even you could have probably scored from those chances. :D

Well, i feel joy that the first scoring chance went to Estonia and at least we tried to play instead of all-out-bunker defence. Spanish defenders made some mistakes and with better strikers those mistakes would have been taken advantage of.
