That's weird (too).
I lived in a managed democracy before moving to China which is very explicitly undemocratic and also czar-less, being ruled instead by a collection of vested interest groups in the Politbureau. Once again I'm afraid your thought process moves in a stratosphere that's not accessible to me. Or it might be nonsense. Hard to tell.
another perfect example of what i said. you are so stuck to your own thought process, its virtually impossible to even think that there could be others, also relevant ones, since all are human. you are too quick to lose your western tolerance, which is the thing that bothers me the most ever since we started the exchange we are in for months now.
either way, let it all die, god is a witness - at least i have tried to build bridges, most certainly did not try enough or not in best possible fashion. let it die ...
You must be looking for a new high score in making zero sense. I applaud the effort of course.

glen, you would be a perfect czar in a managed democracy. i think china got to you big time
This is first of all almost completely absurd. Its two sentences with no logical connection between them at all. They actually cancel each other out.
And that is supposed to be a reply to an immortal Monty Python joke, where Osman supplied the picture from the movie?

Of course, I could help you out and say that I know what you actually meant - however helplessly communicated - but that would be really boring, and you would still be wrong.

:pp
you two could be a performance act
He is absolutely soulless. He had the nerve to be the first one ever to not laugh at that Monthy Python Holy Grail comedic gold mine moment.

now a westerner is trying to tell an eastern boy who grown up in communism what he meant when referred to Prussia and china? BWAHAHA !!!! Classic neo-gloabalized approach, aint it. I grew up in Commiee Bulgaria, I work and visit Russia for years now, I have being to China and indeed have projects there. The "managed democracy" is a joke, as it doesnt exist, as such the common things between Putin's russia and nowadays china are more than the differences. Hence being in China can get to you in my example. The China Commie leader is also closer to a czar than even Putin is, albeit they all have differences, if you really want to focus on them.

And finally, but most importantly - so you actually claim to know what I mean, but choose to focus on what you think is lack of being clearly communicated. You like to dominate each and every discussion and dialogue so very much while showing no breaks or mercy, I cant think of anything else to compare you to but to a czar-like figure in a fake (claimed) democracy.

u know what - scratch all that. I hate it. I hate having to argue with somebody so badly, having to fight. I hate to have to attack and insult one way or the other. so scratch that

here is my 2nd resolution - i will change. I will try to change. I will not stop posting in the Juve forum, but I will change my approach, will try to reinvent myself.
Just please not the neo-globalist approach!

I'm proud of you anyway! Still think you should have laughed instead, when I offered my Monty Python olive branch, but like you say, you prefer to fight :D .

NB: The comment on China's czars is a common Western misconception. It is entirely wrong and more so if you really want to use the Russia comparison. That's for another, more serious discussion though.
i did not get the monty pyton joke, honestly. i have seen few of their stuff or just did not pay much attention to it.

it could be for china, looking forward to have hat serious discussion on indigenous territory one day

PS I am trying hard, i have not paid any attention to the patronizing "I am proud of you" and I will not.

Do you think that this - you not understanding the post you responded to, indeed you not paying attention to it - might explain why your response about me being a dictator who had taken China too much to heart... was a little difficult to see the need (or indeed context) for?

:embarass:

I'm proud of you ever more now that you have come clean on this though! Also your willingness to change. Yes you can! :pp :proud:

Its my civic duty to share this with you then:

Yes, it is quite possible that that was indeed the case. In fact often you use English that is hard to follow, which again is a reflection mostly my own shrtcomings in matsering that langauge. At the same time, to be fair, its hard to take one example (the MP joke) and apply it to all my (previous-life-in-Juve-forum) posts and claims here.

Very true! One should be specific and avoid too much generalization! I agree entirely :).
One could say however, that making a meal of a post one did not understand or pay attention to is a little bit like making observations on a football team one does not watch... in the sense that one might say things that seem outrageous to those who do :embarass: .

... ah... I'll stop for today :hopeful:  .
yes, that could be true too. as you might have noticed I did say above my "second resolution".
Ummm, guys?...Ranieri...winning streak...crap football...the topic? :pp
forget ranieri, this is a lot more fun :pp
ranieri? he will be judged on 2 things - results and performance of the team. If he wins the league or UCL OR fail to qualify for next UCL, its safe to say performance will matter less. If he only Q-fies for UCL, then performance probabbly will be key.

I believe it's a combination of Ranieri and upper management.

The transfer policies + Ranieri's starting 11, preferred players, post match reactions etc.

Under Lippi, when Juventus would lose a match, he would admit defeat, analyze the weakness in his post match comments, and bounce right back gradually in the next games. Look at his results with Juve in Scudetto winning seasons: you'll always find like one month where results were poor, where a tough spell was experienced, but he maintained control afterwards.

Under Capello we were at an airtight midfield + defense...with the inability to create anything beautiful in terms of attacking play.

With Ranieri, the team has some weak links which need to be addressed. His team struggles to form a good attack and keep lot's of ball possession - and when the old brigade players such as Del Piero or Nedved show up that's proving to be the turning point in some of our games. Likewise Amauri has shown up as well, sometimes.

It's not like in August 2008, Juve fans were expecting to win Serie A with flying colors; but before the winning streak we noticed some loss of control over the team. There was an injury crisis, and on top of that the cards were played wrong during the games.

Agreed with earlier comments that he shouldn't be axed now - because we don't need imbalance in the team.

But in terms of Cobolli's long-term-we're-building-a-team-to-win-Serie-A-project...I don't see this vision being fulfilled at the current rate.
