When Alenitchev comes next week I think it will be safe to say that we have a much stronger team than last season....perhaps the Jardel sale will be a blessing in disguise.....you think we should go get someone else????

I think we should keep on shopping. Yes PDC has partly given his promise and bought a striker or 2 but Alenitchev isn't a dead cert yet and I think we still need a heavy goalscorer we can rely on.

I think we still need 1 or 2 more forwards and some more power down the right as Capucho isn't enough and maybe 1 more defender - Aloisio's last season could distract him from his job.

Yeah to me wat we need is a CENTRAL DEFENDER my dream would be 2 get F.COUTO from the "dreded" LAZIO.But thats partly impossible tthe player i would really like would be CARLOS GAMARRA the player who played 4 BENFICA & this guy didn't coomit 1 single foul in WC98 !!! now that's discipline...

As for midfielders we are well served,to cover the right wing we have Candido Costa,Romeu,Capucho,Deco can play there & i heard that the JOSIVAN guy has played there before...

For STRIKERS it's LEANDRO & if we get LUND he will be alright...

Yep Leandro has signed for Fiorentina along with Nuno Gomes. Just when we thought we had him he goes off to Italy

So at the moment, NO, we don't have any new strikers at all. No Leandro, Alenitchev is only 50/50 no matter how optimistic u are, and Lund is just a link. Our CL qualifyer is only 3 weeks away now and we need someone FAST or we might be playing UEFA Cup football next season...we still don't know if we will be seeded either...if we are not...we will have to play someone like AC Milan, Inter Milan, Valencia or Leeds.
