This deserves a own thread.

People remind today the great team dynamo had during 97-99.

Very few players did better in Dynamo than Shevchenko.
Blokhin,Kolotov are the only ones i put ahead of Shevchenko.

What makes Sheva's achievements with Dynamo so special is that he was only here for 5 seasons. Compared to Blohkin (17 full seasons), Rebrov (10 seasons), etc.

This is great news for us! If he can get 1/2 goals against Rubin, his confidence will skyrocket.

I think this is time for Sheva to prove something to the rest of Europe he still has it. Im sure he will be highly motivated, I cant wait now. Are

Sheva, Milevskyi and Lenny (Kravets). 3 good strikers, shame Shatskikh and Bangoura left IMO. What's Yarmo like, or is he more of a wide player?

My best wishes to Sheva at Dynamo. I mean it. After the Chelsea fiasco a player of his former quality deserves a honorable end to his career.

How has he been doing so far?

Thanks for the kind words, his work for Dynamo and Milan was legendary. That knee injury that ended his Milan career prematurely in May '06 took something out of his legs, he's still pretty good but not nearly as confident as he used to be.

He's played 3 or 4 games now, he's doing decent but he's being used out of position as a winger

I think they tried him on the wing at Chelsea too for a while, without success. He is a striker obviously, but if he is to be played out of position I would imagine that the attacking midfield is better than the wing. He still has an eye for the game.
