I mean, If we will fight for the second place, we must hope Denmark lose at Kyiv. But Scheva is out, so Denmarks chances grown up. Which would you prefer for Ukraine-Denmark match, a draw or a Ukraine win would be rational, but now, Denmark may win that match easier.
look...our direct contenders right now are greece and denmark...we will play them both at home and to be honest we could have beaten them both in the away matches(then we wouldn't even be talking about this right now but well...) so if we play like we should and win these games we don't have to care about any other matches anymore...furthermore if denmark beats ukraine we get three points closer to them and get the chance again to get first in the group if we beat them in kiev which also isn't impossible...so all we have to do is win all the games, simple as that
LK, if Denmark can snatch a point or three, then it opens things up and we'll have every chance to take first spot.. If Ukraine wins, then they're a step closer to running away with the group and we'll be left with only second place to fight for..
BUT, either way, in fighting for second place (whether because Ukraine beats Denmark, or because we lose to Ukraine), we have both Greece and Denmark to play at home. Our fate is in our own hands, and as long as we can do the job against Denmark and Greece at home, we'll finish in the top 2..
After that, whether we top the group or not will rely on the results of Ukraine (such as this match against Denmark)..
Well, it's always good if the leader loses points.....but as some said everything is in our hands. We have to beat Georgia away on wednesday....we have to beat Denmark and Greece on our own soil.....and we have to beat Albania and Ukraine away.....summary: we have to win all of our games!
Now it is now a more clear fight for the secon place between Turkey and Greece. Ukraine has almost done it. If Turkey can beat Greece in Turkey, which is more likely, Turkey will be an easy qualifier for the playoff round.
